Un FMG Gonflé À Bloc Avec Une Nouvelle Vision DIAMOND-SELLING ROCK BAND NICKELBACK HEADLINES GATINEAU’S HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL Gatineau, April 24, 2019 – It’s official! For its 32nd edition, starting a new era, Gatineau’s FMG welcomes the one and only Nickelback! This iconic international symbol of Canadian rock since the mid-90s formed by Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger and Daniel Adair, having so far sold 50 million albums, will be performing on the Casino Lac-Leamy stage. Nickelback’s smash hit “How You Remind Me” was named Billboard’s ‘Top Rock Song of the Decade’ and was Number 4 on the Top 10 songs of the 2000s list. Nickelback also named Billboard’s “Top Rock Group of the Decade” has received a staggering nine Grammy Award nominations, three American Music Awards, a World Music Award, a People’s Choice Award, twelve JUNO Awards, seven MuchMusic Video Awards, and was inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame in 2007. With more than 23 chart-topping singles and fans spanning the globe, Nickelback boasts twelve consecutive sold-out international tours, playing to well over eight million diehard fans. The FMG is thrilled to be hosting this world-class band, the perfect way to confirm its intention to take the already acclaimed event to another level. Also, over a dozen Francophone musical artists will also be performing at the FMG.
