Th e club is thrilled to host former #1-ranked, 7-time grand slam singles champion Mats Wilander, who will hold personalized tennis clinics for our members and he will play an exhibition match on our brand, new Sta- dium Court!

To celebrate his exclusive visit, we’ll be hosting a Family Tennis Carnival designed for every age and ability, whether you play tennis or not! Th ere will be great prizes, music and much more!

Aft er the clinics and carnival, Wilander will take the court to play a singles exhibition match against Cameron Lickle, a touring professional and former #1 player at the U.S. Naval Academy. Th is is an exciting opportunity to see one of the country’s top tennis players, right here on our very own Stadium Court!

It will consist of a 9-Hole Golf Scramble and Tennis Round Robin, both starting at 10:00 a.m. Lunch, prizes, raffle and silent auction will follow the golf and tennis events. All proceeds will go to “Susan G Komen for the Cure”. Registration forms are also available in both the golf and tennis pro shops.

Because this event does encompass our whole membership, all Ventana Canyon members are encour- aged to help make this fundraiser a success by donating items for the raffle and silent auction. We need your contributions! Everyone’s help with donations and/or underwriting will make a difference in the lives touched by breast cancer. We hope the “giving” will bless you as it will others.
