Daly, LOTSAM AND ETSAM USN (Ret) as the professional society’s Chief Executive F J officer. Admiral Daly is a Life Member of USNI, a former BY JEFFREY S. NILSSON member of the Institute’s Board of Directors/Editorial Board, a participant in the Institute’s seminars, and a contributor to Proceedings magazine. Admiral Daly succeeds Major General Thomas L. Wilkerson, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret) who served as Institute CEO from 2003 – 2011. On April 12, 2011, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration announced the selection of New York City and specifically the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum as one of only four sites nationwide to display a space shuttle orbiter. Intrepid will receive the shuttle Enterprise which was the prototype and test shuttle. We are asking each museum to submit first person accounts from their collections, written by sailors, who served aboard those museum ships. The goal is to have at least one story from each historic vessel in the Historic Naval Ships Association fleet. A Call for Submissions can be found on page 12 of this issue of Anchor Watch.
