th ** Dormition Fast – Aug 1 – 14 in honor of the Most Holy Theotokos. After it is the most strict Fast of the year. A highlight of this time is the beautiful Paraklesis (Supplication) service to her, chanted every evening. Pious Christians will strive to attend all or as many of these supplication services as possible. Please come!
