University. Saint Leo University is a Catholic, coeducational liberal arts college offering a four- year program leading to the baccalaureate degree as well as graduate programs in accounting, , business administration, education, education specialist, criminal justice, critical incident management, cyber security, instructional design, social work, and theology. In addition to encouraging scholarship under the personal guidance of accomplished faculty, the University emphasizes an awareness of humanity and a constant striving toward self-assurance and professional growth. The university campus of Saint Leo University is located twenty-five miles northeast of Tampa, within easy driving distance of metropolitan Tampa-Saint Petersburg and Orlando. Richly wooded grounds overlooking a spring-fed lake provide a safe and peaceful setting for academic pursuits. The university campus has a wide range of academic programs, including an honors program for students interested in enriching their academic experience. There is also an active student life program for the traditional student, including sports teams, fraternities and sororities, student government, and fellowship activities.
