    Diyalog 2020/ 2: 448-452 (Book Review) Edebiyat Kuramı İçin Vazgeçilmez Kaynak Metinler: Frankfurt Dersleri1 Davut Dağabakan , Ağrı Bir ulusun, bir milletin gelişmesinde fen bilimlerinin olduğu kadar sosyal bilimlerin de önemi büyüktür. Sosyal bilimlere değer vermeyen ülkelerin fen bilimlerinde de gelişim gösteremedikleri görülür. Bu bağlamda sivilize olmuş bir uygarlık, gelişmiş bir toplum düzeyi için edebiyata, felsefeye, sosyolojiye, psikoloji ve antropolojiye değer verilmelidir. Sosyal bilimlerin teorisine, kuramsal çalışmalara, kavram icadına ve anadilde kavram oluşturmaya da dikkat edilmelidir. Söz konusu olan edebiyatsa, sadece şiir yazmaya, edebi ürünler oluşturmaya değil de işin estetik boyutu sayılan poetikaya da değer verilmelidir. Alman edebiyatı Türk edebiyatına binaen edebiyatın ya da başka sosyal bilimlerin estetiğini ve poetikasını şekillendirme bakımından çok erken dönemlerde uyanışını gerçekleştirmiştir. Edebiyat kuramı bakımından durumu değerlendirecek olursak Barok döneminde yaşamış Martin Opitz’in „Das Buch von der Deutschen Poeterey“ adlı şiir kuramı ve poetik metni Türk poetikalarından, daha doğrusu sistematik poetikasından beş yüz sene daha önce yazılmıştır. Bu bilinçlenme, bir uygarlığın sadece edebi eserlerle ilgilenmesini değil de edebi eylemin estetiğini ve poetikasını sistematik bir şekilde gerçekleştirme ahlakını da sunar o millete. Bu da her tür sosyal bilimler alanında derinlikli düşünmeyi sağlar. Sadece edebiyatın bir alt dalı olan şiir kuramı alanında değil, örneğin mimarinin poetikasında ya da bir çayın, kahvenin, bir mekânın poetikasında eşyaya nüfuz ve olgulara derinlikli bakma kudreti de böylelikle bu tür eserlerle sağlanmış olur.     Carl Zuckmayer, Sohn eines Fabrikanten für Weinflaschenkapseln in Nackenheim, wuchs von 1900 an in Mainz auf. Er war kein begeisterter Schüler und hatte oft Ärger mit seinen Lehrern. Als in der Oberprima ein kränkelnder Lehrer seinetwegen beinahe in Ohnmacht gefallen war, konnte er nur knapp dem Schulverweis entgehen. 1914 machte er ein "Notabitur" am heute altsprachlichen Rabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium im Mainz, was ihm ermöglichte, sich als Kriegsfreiwilliger zu melden. Bis 1918 war er Soldat an der Westfront. Nach Kriegsende studierte bis 1920 u. a. Jura, Literaturgeschichte und Soziologie in Frankfurt am Main und Heidelberg. Von 1917 an veröffentlichte er Gedichte in expressionistischen Zeitschriften, darunter in der von Franz Pfemfert herausgegeben "Aktion". Im Dezember 1920 wurde sein Drama "Kreuzweg" am Staatlichen Schauspielhaus Berlin uraufgeführt, aber bereits nach drei Aufführungen wieder abgesetzt. Lobende Besprechungen erhielt es lediglich von Herbert Ihering und Siegfried Jacobsohn. 1920 heiratete er seine Mainzer Jugendliebe Annemarie Ganz, von der er sich 1921 wieder scheiden ließ, nachdem er eine leidenschaftliche Liebesaffaire mit der Schauspielerin Annemarie Seidel, genannt Mirl, begonnen hatte. Bis 1922 schlug er sich – insofern als unkonventioneller Autor ein Bohemien (Helmut Kreuzer) – als (Bänkel-) Sänger in Kneipen und mit Gelegenheitsarbeiten durch (u. a. als Statist beim Film oder auch als Drogendealer, dies ließ er jedoch sehr schnell, da er beinahe verhaftet wurde) bis er Engagements als Dramaturg in Kiel, München und (zusammen mit Bertolt Brecht) am Deutschen Theater Berlin erhielt. Dort lernte er die Wiener Schauspielerin Alice Frank, geborene von Herdan, kennen, die er 1925 heiratete. Aus einer vorangegangenen Ehe mit dem kommunistischen Funktionär Karl Frank hatte sie eine Tochter (Michaela), deren Stiefvater Zuckmayer nun wurde.

November 2008 im UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe Zeche Zoll- verein Essen Sehr geehrter Herr Erzbischof Zollitsch, sehr geehrter Herr Professor Meyer, verehrte liebe Frau Ehler-Dorst, sehr geehrter, lieber Herr Dorst, liebe Kollegen Juroren – meine Damen und Herren! Es ist in der Geschichte der Verleihung von Kunstpreisen ein eher ungewöhnliches Ereignis: Dass ein Autoren-Paar ausgezeichnet wird, wie heute Tankred Dorst und Ursula Ehler mit dem „Kunst- und Kulturpreis der deutschen Katholiken“. Beide ha- ben unser Theater mit ihren Stücken seit mehr als 40 Jahren, seit Beginn ihrer Zu- sammenarbeit Anfang der 70er Jahre, bereichert und geprägt. Sie widerlegen die Rede vom Verschwinden des Autors und den Diskurs von der Autorschaft als Funkti- on in produktiver und lebendiger Weise, in einer Doppel-Autorschaft. Tankred Dorst, der vom Theater und der Literatur her kommt; Ursula Ehler, die aus ihrem Gebiet der Bildhauerei den Sinn für das Bildhafte und Plastische des Theaters mitbringt. „Wir sind ein endloses Gespräch“, sagen sie von sich und ihrer Arbeit. „Wir reden und wer- fen uns die Bälle zu.“ In einem Interview erläutern sie den Dialog als ihre Schöpfungs- Dramaturgie: „Ich erfinde bzw. finde Figuren“, sagt Dorst, „Ursula findet Figuren; wir mischen sie, mehrere Figuren in eine, und lassen sie aufeinander treffen, und so schafft man mit den Stücken die Schöpfung gewissermaßen noch einmal neu.“ Lange bevor Dorst mit Ursula Ehler in diesen produktiven Dialog eintrat, antizipierte er in einem Stück bereits die realitätsstiftende Kraft der Rede zwischen Frau und Mann.

    Postdramatic Theatre Hans-Thies Lehmann’s groundbreaking study of the new theatre forms that have developed since the late 1960s has become a key reference point in inter- national discussions of contemporary theatre. Postdramatic Theatre refers to theatre after drama. Despite their diversity, the new forms and aesthetics that have evolved have one essential quality in common: they no longer focus on the dra- matic text. Lehmann offers a historical survey combined with a unique theoretical approach, illustrated by a wealth of practical examples, to guide the reader through this new theatre landscape. He considers these developments in rela- tion to dramatic theory and theatre history, and as an inventive response to the emergence of new technologies and a historical shift from a text-based culture to a new media age of image and sound. Engaging with theoreticians of drama and theatre from Aristotle, Hegel, Szondi and Brecht to Barthes, Lyotard and Schechner, the book analyses the work of recent experimental theatre practi- tioners such as Robert Wilson, Tadeusz Kantor, Heiner Müller, The Wooster Group, Needcompany and Societas Raffaello Sanzio. This excellent translation is newly adapted for the Anglophone reader, including an introduction by Karen Jürs-Munby which provides useful theoret- ical and artistic contexts for the book. Hans-Thies Lehmann is Professor of Theatre Studies at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universität, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. His numerous publications include Theater und Mythos (1991) on the constitution of the subject in ancient Greek tragedy, Writing the Political (2002) and, with Patrick Primavesi, Heiner Müller Handbuch (2004). Art and Social Responsi‐ bility, Balingen to the Center for Persecuted Arts, Solingen In 1990, the WDR journalist Hajo Jahn founded the Else Lasker-Schüler Society in Wuppertal, the birthplace of the painter-poet Else Lasker-Schüler. She had become famous in Berlin and was forced to flee from there to escape the National Socialists. Because Hajo Jahn saw her biogra‐ phy as a link between the various forms of persecuted arts, he committed himself to a contem‐ porary culture of remembrance and a “Center for Persecuted Arts” that would take all artistic genres into account. Against the background of the outbreak of racism directed against refugees and minorities in reunified Germany, Hajo Jahn and Jürgen Serke initiated a nationwide action of the Else Lasker- Schüler Society on November 9, 1992: “A Night in Germany,” a reaction to the arson attacks, in which authors read in the homes of asylum seekers—“against xenophobia, violence, and anti- Semitism,” in Rostock, Moelln, Cottbus, Hünxe, Magdeburg, Schwerin, Dresden, and Solingen. In 1994, the Else Lasker-Schüler Society Wuppertal, together with Exil-PEN, called for the founding of a Center for Persecuted Arts. On September 12, 1994, the Else Lasker-Schüler Society presented the dependent foundation “Burned and Banished Poets/Artists – For a Center of Persecuted Arts” in the Düsseldorf state parliament. There, an appeal with signatures of fifty authors was submitted, including Günter Grass, Siegfried Lenz, Johannes Mario Simmel, and Tankred Dorst, as well as the East German writers Sarah Kirsch, Reiner Kunze, Jürgen Fuchs, and Wolf Biermann; further signees included Herta Müller and the Israelis Yehuda Amichai, Jakob Hessing, and Tuvia Rübner.
