The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfied that the lands specified in the schedule below have to be acquired for a public purpose and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands is to be paid by the Public Revenues. In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 33 of Town and Country Planning Act, 1971, (Act No. 35 of 1972) the Commissioner of Town and Country Planning in his proceedings Roc.No. 24340/2007/DP3, Dated 10-11-2008 proposes to make the following variation to the Perumalpuram Extension Detailed Development Plan No. 1 (comprehensive variation) of Tirunelveli Local Planning Area and published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No. 5, Part VI—Section 1, Page No. 57, Dated 9-2-2000 Publication No. VI(1)73/2000.

2. Any person affected or interested in this draft Variation may within SIXTY days from the date of publication of this notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette can represent in person or submit in writing to the Member-Secretary Tirunelveli Local Planning Authority any objections and suggestions relating thereto.

3. The Variation with plan may be inspected free of cost at any time during office hours at the above said Local Planning Authority office.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 11 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873) and in supersession of all the previous notifications on the subject, the High Court, Madras hereby fixes the local jurisdiction of the District Munsif Court, Sankarankoil in Tirunelveli District and District Munsif Court, in Thoothukudi District specified in the table below with effect on from the date of publication of notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.

In exercise of the powers conferred under the first proviso to Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873), the High Court, Madras, hereby directs that appeals from the decrees or orders of the District Munsif Court, Harur and District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Pappireddipatti be preferred in the Court of Subordinate Judge, Harur with effect from the date on which the Subordinate Judge, Harur assumes charge of that Court.
