Saint. Francis Xavier – a Study [1] P.Anthonyappan, [2] A
ISSN (Online) 2456 -1304 International Journal of Science, Engineering and Management (IJSEM) Vol 2, Issue 12, December 2017 Saint. Francis Xavier – A study [1] P.Anthonyappan, [2] A. Berlin, [3] I. Vinitha [1][2][3] M. Phil History, Scott Christian College (Autonomous) Nagercoil Abstract:-- This paper proposes an autopilot system for a small and light unmanned air vehicle called Kiteplane. The Kiteplane has a large delta-shaped main wing that is easily disturbed by the wind, which was minimized by utilizing trim flight with drift. The proposed control system for autonomous trajectory following with a wind disturbance included fuzzy logic controllers, a speed controller, a wind disturbance attenuation block, and low-level feedback controllers. The system was implemented onboard the aircraft. Experiments were performed to test the performance of the proposed system and the Kiteplane nearly succeeded in following the desired trajectory, under the wind disturbance. Although the path was not followed perfectly, the airplane was able to traverse the waypoints by utilizing a failsafe waypoint updating rule. The literal meaning of autopilot is a device that steers a ship, plane, or spacecraft by itself, without a person. However, the expression “on autopilot” has developed a different meaning. Here are some typical uses of the expression “on autopilot,” In this paper we propose an approach for generating real life data over which we have control of the concept and can generate data exhibiting different types of concept drift. The approach uses a 3-D driving game to produce a data stream of instances describing how to drive around a track. -

A Report on Ngc Activities in Tamilnadu During 2004-2005
A REPORT ON NGC ACTIVITIES IN TAMILNADU DURING 2004-2005 National Green Corps (Eco-clubs): An Overview We all know that we are part of the environment we live in. The solution to many environmental problems lie in our attitude towards environment. Be it awareness to keep our surroundings clean or the realization to conserve natural resources by re-using and recycling wherever possible, they all are attitudinal. On the surface, it looks simple; but changing the attitude of one billion people is not going to happen overnight. The best way to attempt to bring about a change in the attitudes in the society is through children. They have no vested interests; they are impressionable; they are our future. They are the single most important influence in any family. With this realization the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India decided to launch the National Green Corps Progarnme (NGC). Government of India started the NGC Programme in the Tenth Five Year Plan. The objectives of this National programme are to educate children about their immediate environment to impart knowledge about the intricacies of the eco- systems, through field visits to instill in them the spirit of scientific inquiry into environmental problem and involve them in the efforts of environmental conservation. The NGC programme was successfully launched in 29 districts of Tamilnadu during 2002-2003. But the Department of Environment was one of the pioneers in starting eco-clubs in 1260 schools spread over all the districts of Tamilnadu within the State Government fund even before NGC programme came into being. -

The Festival As Carnivalesque: Social Governance and Control at Pamplona’S San Fermin Fiesta

Informed by the work of Bakhtin, this article makes the case that festivals should be understood as carnivalesque inversions of the everyday, deployed to maintain and reinforce social order and, thus, the discipline of bodies. This is achieved, it is argued, by creating “liminal zones” in which people can engage in “deviant” practices, safe in the knowledge that they are not transgressing the wider social structure they encounter in everyday life. It is suggested that the attraction of visitors is crucial, in providing a “cover” for this activity, as well as a conduit for the gradual legitimation of new and revised social values. The article concludes by arguing that this need for tourists (local and outsiders) is both recognized and embraced by residents and visitors alike, with neither fraction naive enough to believe that authenticity resides in representation, or even cultural (re)production. Festivals Social relations Interpretation Introduction: Festivals and the Reproduction tive memories are related less to their historical or of Social Relations social context, and more to the increasing abstraction and rerouting of cultural meanings. -
