Parents doing duties Weather All parents will note their duty time in this newsletter. It is very important that we have full support from our parents Saturday - 21 degrees. for our duty roster. We basically have no back ups so we really need full support from our parents. GLAC Centre Uniform Please check in at the Geelong Team Managers table 15 minutes prior to your duty starting. You need to collect a Duty Badge, they will then explain what your duty is and where to go. Please do not panic, all duties are not hard, the hard ones are for the LAVic officials. YOU MUST WEAR CLOSE SHOES, NO OPEN TOE. Arrival time & Call Room Please allow for traffic etc. on Saturday & Sunday, there are major road works along the highway. Please arrive no less than 1 hr before your first event. There is NO FIELD Call Room, only track. Field: NO Call Room - You will be called over the PA system to your event. Please arrive at your event before the start time on the Timetable. Track: Final entry time - 20 minutes before your TRACK YOU MUST WEAR THE CENTRE event. UNIFORM ONLY!

WMR TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS DUTY ROSTER PLEASE NOTE: The Field events have changed if your name is in Orange or Green it means you have 2 duties.

Some are multiple kids, and some are 2 x 1 hour time slots. Field events are the event start time. Please come to Geelong desk at least 20 minutes before the event start time to get the Geelong badge and get to the event 15 mins before it starts. Some field events have been grouped in 3 event slots as the numbers are quite low in many of these events and won't take very long to complete. You should have breaks in between the field event age groups. But each duty slot has at least 2 age groups to complete.

Everyone is expected to do their duty it is a ruling not only from LAVic but GLAC. We have NO back up, so if your child/ren are competing, you MUST do your duty. Thank you!

MASKS Masks do not have to be worn outside at the Newport athletics track. But it is a rule that if you cannot keep 1.5 distance a part, you must wear one! We need to be very careful under our Marques. WMR are very concerned that at some events and the presentations, parents will gather in large groups and not be 1.5m apart. Please place on your mask if you cannot socially distance. If WMR see large gatherings especially around the presentations and parents are not socially distancing or have masks on, then they have stated they will cancel the presentations. GLAC’s advice … wear your mask while you take your photo, then you can remove it when you leave. When you are watching your child at a field event, wear the mask or make sure you are 1.5 apart.
