Purpose The release notes provide summary information about the GA version of the Call Management System (CMS) R19.1.x software. The release notes include last minute information that is not incorporated into the standard documentation as well as a very high level description of the release content. For details about the features included in CMS R19.1.x please see the product documentation posted at http://support.avaya.com. The following table provides software acquisition information for the CMS R 19.1 software: Product Software Acquisition Required Patch or PSN Call Management All software upgrades from pre-CMS 19.1.0.0 to 19.1.0.1 must perform a Please note a different System CUE upgrade. See section 3.2 ‘PC Client Fixes’ for details. 3. 19.1.0.1 Service Pack Information 3.1 Enhancements in 19.1.0.1 The following CMS Server enhancements are available in this service pack: • CMS Server encryption passphrase management improvements. Beginning with 19.1.0.1 two passphrases are supported. CMS will ship with default values for both passphrases. Customers must take specific action to change both default passphrases. See the CMS 19.1 Deployment document for details. • Update to Linux 7.8. This includes the latest RPMs, including security updates. See the appendix B for a list of all RPM versions included. The following Web Client enhancements are available in this service pack: • Tenant Access Permissions feature. This feature is available for tenant users when multi- tenancy feature is installed. This feature provides the ability to view: Tenant Access, Tenant ACD Access, Tenant Feature Access, Tenant Main Menu Addition Access, Tenant Split/Skill Access, Tenant Trunk Group Access, Tenant User Data, Tenant VDN Access, Tenant Vector Access. These capabilities can be accessed with the ‘Administration’ tab, under the ‘Tenant Access Permissions’ option. • System Setup feature. This feature provides the ability to configure the following: CMS State, Data Collection, Data Storage Allocation, Data Summarization Time Zone, Data Summarizing, Main Menu Addition, Free Space Allocation, Pseudo-ACD Setup, Storage Intervals, and Switch Setup. This capability can be accessed with the ‘Administration’ tab, under the ‘System Setup’ option. • Maintenance Feature. This feature provides the ability to configure or view the following: Backup/Restore Devices, Printer Administration, Report Administration, Connection Status, ACD Status, Archiving Status, Firewall Status, and Reports: ACD Admin Log and Error Log. This capability can be accessed with the ‘Administration’ tab, under the ‘Maintenance’ option. 3.2 Bug Fixes 19.1.0.1 CMS Server Bug Fixes The following server bug fixes are in this service pack: • Fixed issue with AWS deployments in 19.1. The 19.0.0.0 OVA file could not be deployed in AWS. This problem is resolved in 19.1.0.1 with a new OVA file specifically for use with AWS. October 5, 2020 4 CMS R19.1.0.x Release Notes • When changing user feature permission not as cms/cmssvc, even though the password field is not modified, users get error message about password modification. The erroneous error message is removed. • Fixed issue with report inputs when VDN range entry is greater than 11 digits. VDNs greater than 11 digits always failed tenant permission check. Correct tenant permission check for 11-digit VDNs entries now takes place. • Fixed integrated report issues: skill state column used twice in the same table and using the inputted CWC value. • Fixed issue with auto unlocking after disk added to system. After a disk is added to the system, auto unlocking now works correctly as configured (enabled or disabled) on subsequent reboots. • Fixed issue with adding disk to CMS on an AWS system. A hard disk added in the AWS console can now be correctly added to Informix dbspace with dbinit.sh add_disks. • Fixed extraneous elog entries for CMS on an AWS system. Extraneous hourly warnings to elog have been eliminated. • ECH processing no longer, occationally, leaves a defunct process running. • Updated CMS help to correctly describe password policy. CMS Web Fixes 19.1.0.1 The following CMS Web Client bug fixes are in this service pack: • Change Agent Skills now shows Dictionary name when it exists. • Change Agent Skills drop down list shows all skills the user has permission (write). • Change password now correctly manages passwords that contain a “$”, “$$”, and

However, error free OCR of degraded (broken and merged) and noisy text is still challenging for modern OCR systems. OCR of degraded text with high accuracy is very important due to many applications in business, industry and large scale document digitization projects. This thesis presents a new OCR method for degraded text recognition by introducing a combined ANN/HMM OCR approach. The approach provides significantly better performance in comparison with state-of-the-art HMM based OCR methods and existing open source OCR systems. In addition, the thesis introduces novel applications of ANNs and HMMs for document image preprocessing and recognition of low resolution text. Furthermore, the thesis provides psychophysical experiments to determine the effect of letter permutation in visual word recognition of Latin and Cursive script languages. HMMs and ANNs are widely employed pattern recognition paradigms and have been used in numerous pattern classification problems. This work presents a simple and novel method for combining the HMMs and ANNs in application to segmentation free OCR of degraded text. HMMs and ANNs are powerful pattern recognition strategies and their combination is interesting to improve current state-of-the-art research in OCR.

    LETTER TYPES Do you need to write a letter for business, professional, or employment purposes ? The content and format of the letter you write will depend on the. Congratulatory letter, condolence letter, invitation letter etc are all social letters. Only a symbol with a unique function is considered a character and is thus assigned a code point in Unicode. Official letters are also formal in nature and follow certain structure and decorum. In Greek handwriting, it was common to join the left leg and horizontal stroke into a single loop, as demonstrated by the uncial version shown. The shapes of the letters recall the handpainted strokes made by traditional sign painters and lettering artists. Two or three paragraphs are plenty. Let us have a look at the few types of letters. There was also a cursive style used for everyday or utilitarian writing, which was done on more perishable surfaces. Source: npr Types of Letters Let us first understand that there are broadly two types of letter, namely Formal Letters, and Informal Letters. Especially in formal letters, it is important to immediately make clear the purpose of the letter. Monospaced typefaces function better for some purposes because their glyphs line up in neat, regular columns. One could be asking for time, money, services, or products; the fact is that, when you ask for someone's help, you are subliminally potentially putting yourself lower than the other person. Small capitals and non-lining numerals once found only in serif fonts are included in the sans-serif versions of Thesis, Scala Pro, and many other contemporary superfamilies.

    Thai Printing Support in FOSS Theppitak Karoonboonyanan 23 January 2006 1 Requirements Summary 1.1 Rendering As summarized in [1] and [2], rendering or typesetting Thai texts involves the following issues: 1.1.1 Word Breaking There is no word delimitor for Thai. Texts are written continuously. Word boundaries need to be determined when wrapping lines, for example. 1.1.2 Cell Clustering Clustering means tokenizing text string into clusters, each comprising a base character and zero or more combining characters. In case of excessive combining characters, or invalid sequence, extra clusters without base character will be introduced to show the excessive characters. These extra clusters might be rendered with dotted circle as its base, for example. Figure 1: Thai cell clustering 1.1.3 Substitution • U+0E33 (SARA AM) needs to be decomposed for proper rendering. The character is composed of two parts, U+0E4D (NIKHAHIT) and U+0E32 (SARA AA). NIKHAHIT is a combining character, while SARA AA is a base-line character. The glyph for SARA AM in most fonts are already prepared for placing both parts on normal base characters. But some base characters with upshooting stem will cause an overlap with NIKHAHIT. So, decomposing SARA AM will provide some chance for proper position- ing. Then, the decomposed NIKHAHIT needs to be further reordered with any existing tone mark, so that it is stacked to the base character before the tone mark. 1 • The removal of descender component of some characters, namely U+0E0D (YO YING) and U+0E10 (THO THAN), when combined with a below- base combining character.
