Mbappé Reste À Paris À Moins Que… Sport / Sports Transferts Mbappé reste à Paris à moins que… Un mercato historique prend fin mardi à minuit, après les transferts de deux étoiles du football mondial : Lionel Messi au Paris SG et Cristiano Ronaldo de retour à Manchester United; Kylian Mbappé semble de plus en plus proche d'un statu quo, malgré l'intérêt du Real Madrid. La Ligue 1 n'avait pas autant affolé le mercato depuis 2017 et l'arrivée conjointe de Neymar et Mbappé au PSG ! Mais l'édition 2021 du marché des transferts restera, quoi qu'il arrive, marquée de l'empreinte parisienne, avec un club plus que jamais en mode Ligue des champions. L'arrivée de Messi, que le FC Barcelone n'a pas pu conserver, a causé un retentissement inédit dans la capitale et dans les instances du foot français. Au Parc des Princes lors de sa présentation aux fans, comme pour ses premières minutes de jeu à Reims dimanche, “la Pulga” a fait chavirer les amateurs de football à chaque apparition. Presque assez pour faire oublier le recrutement étoilé de Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum et Gianluigi Donnarumma, trois cadres arrivés gratuitement, et d'Achraf Hakimi, une très bonne pioche arrachée à l'Inter Milan pour 60 millions euros. Le feuilleton Mbappé a tenu en haleine les fans jusqu'aux dernières heures du mercato. Mais les offres du Real (160 millions euros, puis 180 bonus inclus) n'ont pas fait fléchir les dirigeants parisiens, proches de conserver leur star, en fin de contrat en juin. La crise de la Covid n'a pas changé ses habitudes: le Championnat d'Angleterre reste le plus dépensier. La recrue la plus chère a atterri à Manchester City. Le milieu offensif d'Aston Villa et nouveau chouchou des fans anglais, Jack Grealish, est devenu Citizen pour 117 millions euros. Chelsea, champion d'Europe en titre, a dépensé 115 millions euros pour assurer le retour de Romelu Lukaku (Inter Milan). Mais c'est peut-être Manchester United qui a tiré le gros lot en faisant revenir Cristiano Ronaldo, son ancienne gloire. Autres arrivées: Raphaël Varane (Real Madrid, 40 millions euros) et Jadon Sancho (Dortmund, 85 millions euros). Le départ de Cristiano Ronaldo de la Juventus s'inscrit dans la logique d'un été où la Serie A, frappée par la crise, n'avait pas les moyens de retenir ses stars, à l'image de Lukaku. Pour se renforcer, les prêts avec obligation d'achat, permettant de repousser d'un an voire deux ans le paiement, restent ainsi monnaie courante: formule notamment retenue par la Juventus pour Manuel Locatelli, en prêt deux ans de Sassuolo avant un achat (37,5 millions euros) et pour le revenant Moise Kean (Everton). L'Inter Milan a réinvesti une part des ventes (30 millions euros pour Joaquin Correa, 12,5 millions euros pour Denzel Dumfries) mais aussi joué malin avec des joueurs libres (Hakan Calhanoglu, Edin Dzeko). Milan a limité les dépenses en attirant deux Français : Olivier Giroud et Mike Maignan. Seule la Roma a vraiment cassé sa tirelire pour offrir à José Mourinho le jeune attaquant anglais Tammy Abraham (pour 40 millions euros, joueur le plus cher en arrivée en Italie). La Liga orpheline de Messi en Espagne, alors que le championnat tout entier attend fiévreusement l'épilogue du feuilleton Mbappé, le mercato a plutôt été marqué par les partants (Ramos, Varane, Messi). Le départ de la “puce” argentine a laissé un vide énorme au sein du club catalan, où il a passé plus de 20 ans de sa vie et écrit la légende d'un des meilleurs clubs du monde. La preuve : personne n'a encore osé reprendre son emblématique n°10. Le Barça a recruté deux attaquants de renom, Sergio Agüero et Memphis Depay, et deux jeunes défenseurs, Eric Garcia et Emerson Royal. Côté Real, la seule arrivée notable est celle de David Alaba, en plus du retour de prêt de Gareth Bale et de celle, probable, d'Eduardo Camavinga. Le Bayern Munich s'est offert l'international français Dayot Upamecano et l'Autrichien Marcel Sabitzer, de Leipzig, ex-club de son nouvel entraîneur Julian Nagelsmann. Son grand rival, Dortmund, a cédé Jadon Sancho à Manchester United, mais a réussi à conserver son buteur norvégien Erling Haaland... au moins pour le moment. .
