All voters are encouraged to request a vote-by-mail ballot. In-person early voting has been canceled. In-person voting will take place only on May 12. We encourage you to request an absentee (mail-in) ballot. Early Voting (Vote-by-Mail) Application – English Early Voting (Vote-by-Mail) Application – Spanish IMPORTANT! Contact your county clerk or election commissioner for information about in-person voting on May 12, as each county has different rules in place. E lection Officials/County Offices across Nebraska REQUEST your MAIL BALLOT EARLY to ensure it arrives before Election Day. May 1, 2020: Last day to request a ballot to be mailed to you. All vote-by-mail ballots must be received by 8 pm (CT) on Election Day. Drop boxes will be available at local county offices starting April 24. See the last page of this document for more information from the Secretary of State.
