Building on the success of two previous Women’s Summit events, the league will bring together current and future leaders to discuss how football and the broader sports world can continue to support the advancement of women on and off the field. The NFL collaborated with the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee and the Minnesota Vikings to invite approximately 300 Minneapolis-area female college and graduate students to attend the Women’s Summit, alongside more than 200 members of the NFL Football Family. “We have the privilege of once again using our biggest platform—the Super Bowl—to convene a conversation about the advancement of women on and off the field. We want the young women attending, and about to embark on their own careers, to hear insights from leaders across the industry and be inspired to dream big,” said NFL Chief Marketing Officer DAWN HUDSON. NFL partner Procter & Gamble’s trusted female brand Secret is participating again in this year’s Women’s Summit. “At Secret we know it takes guts to redefine cultural norms, and we proudly support all women's efforts—big or small—to take life and stress head on,” said JANINE MILETIC, Brand Director for Secret. “The women in the NFL are exceptional examples of people who are shaking the status quo and redefining expectations. We’re excited to celebrate these women by partnering with the NFL at the Women’s Summit to showcase their stories of courage and resilience and champion others to push boundaries and accomplish their own dreams.” ISSA RAE, actress, writer and producer of HBO’s Insecure will be the featured speaker at this year’s Women’s Summit. The Golden Globe nominee and New York Times best-selling author will bring her unique flare to a discussion of women trailblazing their own paths. The Women’s Summit will be emceed by MARIA MENOUNOS, Emmy winner and New York Times best-selling author. Menounos will be joined by more than two dozen speakers exploring topics on mentorship, healthy relationships and advocacy, among others.
