HOLLY ASSUMES A.L. RESCUE LEAD--With his 15th save of the season on Thursday night, Greg Holland has taken over the A.L. top spot in rescues, one more than Minnesota’s Glen Perkins...Holland has made good on 55 of his last 57 tries (96.5%), the highest percentage among the 10 closers with at least 40 opportunities in that span...since May 30, 2013, Greg has 6 more saves than any other pitcher in baseball (Craig Kimbrel - 49) and has allowed just 8 earned runs in 71.2 innings for a 1.00 ERA, holding opposing hitters to a .167 average...he’s also recorded 107 strikeouts in those 71.2 innings, for an A.L.-best 13.44 strikeouts per 9.0 IP.
