The past year in popular music has fostered the explosion of Electronic Dance Music and a new generation of neon­clad ravers in America, taking the music from its roots in the clubs and abandoned warehouses of inner cities and dropping it on festival stages big and bright enough to see from space. As tidal waves of young, talented artists, and veterans alike, fight for their share of the spotlight, Russian­German producer Anton Zaslovski, better known as Zedd, has separated himself from the heard with his gut­punching electro­house style and the genre’s most anticipated full­length album release since it’s rise into the American mainstream, his debut record, Clarity. After sending OWSLA record label head honcho and dubstep king, Skrillex, a sample of his work in 2011, Zedd punched his ticket straight to the top of the game. Although Clarity is the artist’s first studio album, it’s seamless flow from track to track and heavy electro influences point to a musician wise beyond his years. Traditionally, EDM has been a genre dominated by single releases with many artists struggling to create cohesive full­length albums that make any sort of lasting impression on listeners.

Doctors told Prince his blood count was unusually low and that his body temperature had dropped dangerously below the normal 98.6 degrees. He was totally iron deficient, very weak and often disoriented. He rarely ate and when he did it all came right back up.” However, Prince is said to have told his friends: “God can - and will - cure me.” After his initial HIV diagnosis, Prince was reportedly discouraged from taking medication by members of his faith. A source said: “They told Prince he’d have ever- lasting life and believed he had been cured by faith. “But the symptoms returned and it was too late for medication. He expected to live through the summer but his immune system was very weak.” He is alleged to have been taking prescrip- tion opiates for “AIDS-related pain and hip problems”. These claims come following recent reports that Prince overdosed on the painkiller Percocet six days before his death and had to be given a “save shot” to counteract the effects of opiates, after being taken ill on his private jet on the way back from a gig in Atlanta.

The apartment has been unoccupied this term, so no students were injured. The woman driving the car was alert and conscious when she was taken by ambulance for treatment. According to authorities at the scene Tuesday after- noon, the driver was westbound on E. 38th Street when she crossed the boulevard, crossed the eastbound lane of E. 38th Street, and then went up the curb and hit the apartment building on the corner of E. 38th Street and Lewis Avenue. According to Deputy Erie Fire Chief Jeff Carroll, “She tried turning onto Wayne Street, when she saw oncoming traffi c approaching she sped up. She drove onto the grass and into the building.” The collision took out the window and at lease a foot of wall. The surrounding structure that didn’t caved in is and holding up at the time.
