GIOVEDì 25 GIUGNO 2015 Nuovo singolo, "Beautiful Now" ft. Jon Bellion, per Zedd, il 25enne produttore, compositore e polistrumentista russo che sta facendo impazzire il mondo. Nuovo singolo, "Beautiful Now" ft. Jon Bellion, per Zedd Il video disponibile su YouTube da una settimana, ha già superato i 2,5 ml. di click. Contenuto nell'album "True Colors" È da poco uscito il suo nuovo album (19 maggio), "TRUE COLORS" che negli Usa ha subito scalato le classifiche posizionandosi al #3 della classifica generale e al #1 di quella dance. LA REDAZIONE Zedd, uno dei producer più rispettati e seguiti in tutto il mondo, non è nuovo alle collaborazioni. Nell'album è infatti presente "I WANT YOU TO KNOW", il singolo precedente scritto e prodotto insieme a Ryan Tedder dei OneRepublic e cantato con Selena Gomez, che ha conquistato il 1mo posto in 33 paesi del mondo ed il cui video, ha ottenuto 50 ml di visualizzazioni. [email protected] SPETTACOLINEWS.IT Cresciuto in una famiglia di musicisti, Zedd ha iniziato prestissimo a suonare il pianoforte (4 anni) e a registrare le sue canzoni (6 anni). A 12 aveva già aggiunto al curriculum lo studio della batteria. Stimolato dalla musica dei francesi Justice inzia già nel 2009 a produrre musica elettronica. La sua prima esperienza con una etichetta è datata 2012 quando con la sua prima band firma con la Lifeforce Records, una etichetta tedesca (Anton si trasferisce in Germania con la famiglia da piccolo). Come "ZEDD" produce svariati remix e sue canzoni e vince due concorsi della Beatport remix. Pubblica il suo primo singolo "the anthem" che entra nella Beatport Electro house Top 20. Il suo remix di "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" di Skrillex entrò nella classifica Beatport Electro House Top Ten piazzandosi alla seconda posizione. Da allora continua a produrre vari remix di celebri cantanti come The Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Skrillex e altri. Nel 2011 collabora con Lady Gaga ai remix dei brani "Marry the Night" e "Born This Way" e nello stesso anno il suo singolo "Shave it" debutta in anteprima sul canale Youtube di Skrillex (è sua l'etichetta che mette Zedd sotto contratto). Who produces indie? What is the ideology behind it? How can they realize their idealistic goals? Who participates in the indie community? What are the relationships among mainstream popular music, rock music and indie music? In this thesis, I study the production, circulation, and reception of Chinese indie music, with special attention paid to class, aesthetics, and the influence of the internet and globalization. Borrowing Stuart Hall’s theory of encoding/decoding, I propose that Chinese indie music production encodes ideologies into music. Pierre Bourdieu has noted that an individual’s preference, namely, tastes, corresponds to the individual’s profession, his/her highest educational degree, and his/her father’s profession. Whether indie audiences are able to decode the ideology correctly and how they decode it can be analyzed through Bourdieu’s taste and distinction theory, especially because Chinese indie music fans tend to come from a community of very distinctive, 20-to-30-year-old petite-bourgeois city dwellers. Overall, the thesis aims to illustrate how indie exists in between the incompatible poles of mainstream Chinese popular music and Chinese rock music, rephrasing mainstream and alternatives by mixing them in itself.

Is there a way you can lighten it up a little? Be careful about overdoing it. There are so few albums that are really ABOVE, you know? And we need a little old school in here because I don't know any of the references you make. The past year in popular music has fostered the explosion of Electronic Dance Music and a new generation of neonclad ravers in America, taking the music from its roots in the clubs and abandoned warehouses of inner cities and dropping it on festival stages big and bright enough to see from space. As tidal waves of young, talented artists, and veterans alike, fight for their share of the spotlight, RussianGerman producer Anton Zaslovski, better known as Zedd, has separated himself from the heard with his gutpunching electrohouse style and the genre’s most anticipated fulllength album release since it’s rise into the American mainstream, his debut record, Clarity. After sending OWSLA record label head honcho and dubstep king, Skrillex, a sample of his work in 2011, Zedd punched his ticket straight to the top of the game. Although Clarity is the artist’s first studio album, it’s seamless flow from track to track and heavy electro influences point to a musician wise beyond his years. Traditionally, EDM has been a genre dominated by single releases with many artists struggling to create cohesive fulllength albums that make any sort of lasting impression on listeners.
