Not sure what happens if you are not online since im always online, but if you are and Nvidia's server is down you cannot access it's options potentially making recording impossible. I'd investigate further, but there are better options out there anyway so I don't rely on Shadowplay. Also Nvidia's control panel for the last few drivers becomes inaccessible on W10 creators update if you choose to not install Geforce Experience. Whether a bug or by design I'm not sure - yet. This also seemed to fix an issue with Shadowplay recording a constant mic static audio, even with the mic turned off in settings, even though I was already using the same version of Shadowplay. It's an issue that comes and goes throughout versions though, maybe I have to just ALWAYS DDU like I use to do every version. I'm just awaiting UWP support for Shadowplay now, since they have the Vulkan and Windowed Mode support for other games.
