Dear Indian friends in Taiwan,

India-Taipei Association cordially invites you to join in a student project to be held in Taiwan: “Young Entrepreneurs of the Future-YEF”.

The project “Young Entrepreneurs of the Future-YEF”, organized by Epoch Foundation with the prospect of cultivating future talents with integrity, justice, entrepreneurship, global view and competence, teamwork spirit, empathy, and sense of responsibility, is popular among the university students and professors. In 2013, it is approved for course credits in National Taiwan University, National Chen-Chih University, National Tsing-Hua University, National Chiao Tung University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Fu Jen Catholic University, and National Cheng Kung University.

Each year, YEF selects 17 finalists to visit the top universities and innovative companies overseas. The past schedules include: dialogue with Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of World Wide Web; world-renowned universities such as MIT, UC Berkeley, Stanford University, University of Toronto, Imperial College London, and Tsinghua University (Beijing) and their labs; technology companies such as Google, iRobot, and E Ink; the design consulting firms, IDEO and Designit; start-up incubators MaRS, Accelerator Centre, Communitech, ideaSpace, and Plug and Play Center; think tanks CIGI and Chatham House, as well as the NGOs and social enterprises such as Design that Matter, Kiva, and OLPC. Through visiting, learning, and exchanging ideas with local entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial networks, YEF broadens the view of the students, helps them build up networks, and further boosts the economy in the future.
