LISTENTO by Audiomovers QUICK START What is LISTENTO? LISTENTO is a software audio plug-in designed to stream audio from DAW to a web browser or to another DAW. It allows real-time streaming of several lossless and compressed formats. LISTENTO RECEIVER is a plug-in that allows receiving and recording the incoming audio stream from a remote LISTENTO plug-in. Supported Plug-in Formats AAX, AU, VST , VST3 Mac OS X 10.11 – 10.15 64 bit Windows 8.1, Windows 10 32 and 64 bit Supported Hosts Logic Pro X, Cubase 9.5, Cubase 10, Pro Tools 12 and up, Ableton Live 9 64 bit, Ableton Live 10, Studio One 4, Studio One 5, Reaper 6, GarageBand 10, Adobe Audition CC2019, Wavelab 10 Other hosts may work but weren’t tested. Some hosts won’t work with LISTENTO plug-in if they don’t support third-party plug-ins. For example: Pro Tools First or Presonus Studio One Prime. Below are only some suggestions. Use LISTENTO and LISTENTO RECEIVER to stream, listen and record a remote audio in DAW. LISTENTO also allows a listening experience in a web browser. Use remote desktop software such as TeamViewer, for example, to enhance a collaboration experience. Use third-party communication providers such as ZOOM, Google Meet, Discord, Skype or others for a visual and audio communication. We recommend using headphones for your sessions to avoid audio feedback or echo. 1HOW TO STREAM AUDIO FROM DAW 1. Add the LISTENTO plug-in to an empty insert slot in audio or midi 1 channel. Launch the plug-in and enter your Audiomovers user name and password and click “Log In”. “Start Transmission” button will become available. 2HOW TO STREAM AUDIO FROM DAW 2. Prepare your stream. Set session name (optional). Click “Copy Link” to copy a stream session link to clipboard. Set session password (optional). Adjust streaming quality and latency. 2 3HOW TO STREAM AUDIO FROM DAW 3. Press “Start Transmission” to begin streaming. Send your session link to anyone you want to share your stream with. 3 4HOW TO RECEIVE AND RECORD AUDIO STREAM 1. Create an AUX track (or use Input 1 channel in Cubase or Nuendo). * Example in Logic Pro X 5HOW TO RECEIVE AND RECORD AUDIO STREAM 2. Assign audio input to AUX channel. Audio input must be present in the 2 assigned audio channel. When there is no input assigned to AUX channel, DAW will disable plug-ins on that channel and no stream reception will be possible. * Example in Logic Pro X 6HOW TO RECEIVE AND RECORD AUDIO STREAM Pro Tools users: Ensure the Dynamic Plug-in Processing is disabled in Playback Engine settings. OR Make sure you have an assigned input in the channel with LISTENTO RECEIVER. 7HOW TO RECEIVE AND RECORD AUDIO STREAM 3. Add the LISTENTO RECEIVER plug-in to an insert slot of the AUX track. 3 * Example in Logic Pro X 8HOW TO RECEIVE AND RECORD AUDIO STREAM LINE 2 4. Open the LISTENTO RECEIVER 4 plug-in and paste the session link. 5. Click “Connect” button. Now you should be receiving a real time audio feed. 5 9HOW TO RECEIVE AND RECORD AUDIO STREAM 6. In order to record an incoming audio stream from LISTENTO, send the AUX track output to a mixer bus of your choice. * Example in Logic Pro X 6 10 HOW TO RECEIVE AND RECORD AUDIO STREAM 7.
