Good Work done by RPF/ECCoR from-19.11 to 28.11.2019

On 19.11.2019 at about 05.30 hrs information received from DSCNL/KUR through 182, regarding left behind of one bag containing some medical instrument total valued Rs.4,500/- of one bonafied passenger namely Ratan Chandra Debnath in the Train No. 22201 Sealdah-Puri Duranto Exp Coach No.B-3, Seat No.10. On arrival of train at Puri Railway station officer & staff of RPF/Post/Puri retrieved the same from the said coach and informed the matter to its owner. Subsequently, the retrieved bag was handed over to its owner with proper acknowledgement.

On 19.11.2019 at about 15.30 hrs one CRPF Constable namely Jhar Lal Sarkar Battallion No. 189 attended RPF/Post/Bolangir and informed that, while he was coming by Train No. 18006 Exp having PNR No. 65366799967 Ex Koraput to Bolangir, his brown color trolley bag containing Pan Card, Voter ID card, ATM card, Debit Card, Aadhar Card, Identity card of CRPF and two no’s of CRPF Dress total valued Rs.10,000/- left behind in the said train. Immediately information circulated to RPF/Post/Baragarh and on arrival of said train at Baragarh station staff of RPF/Post/Baragarh retrieved the same and sent back to RPF/Post/Bolangir. Subsequently, the retrieved bag was handed over to its owner with proper acknowledgement.

On 19.11.2019 at about 03.30 hrs officer & staff of RPF/Post/SBP recovered one mobile phone valued Rs.8,000/- at Sambalpur railway station on PF No.01. Matter informed to its owner and at about 04.00hrs the owner of the mobile namely Subrajeet Pattnaik aged 39 Yrs, attended at RPF/Post/Sambalpur and stated that, on 18.11.2019 he was travelling form Jharpada- SBP by T/No-18304 exp in GS compartment vide ticket No-72698607. After arrived at Sambalpur Station he charged his cell phone at SBP Station and unfortunately he was left behind his mobile phone. After proper verification the recovered mobile phone was handed over to his owner with proper acknowledgement.

On 19.11.2019 at about 13.35 hrs, information received from DSCNL/WAT through 182, regarding one old age lady at about 70 years wrongly boarded in the real general coach of Train No. 12717 Ratnachal Exp. at Railway station and proceeded towards Railway station. Immediately information circulated to RPF/Post/Duvada and on arrival of said train at Duvada Railway station on duty staff attended and rescued the old lady. Matter informed to her son namely V Adinarayana and after completion of formalities she was handed over to her son under proper acknowledgement.

On 20.11.2019 at about 06.15 hrs information received from DSCNL/KUR regarding left behind of bag in train No.18451(Ranchi-Puri) Exp. On getting information, Train Escorting party of RPF/Post/KUR of train No.18451(Ranchi-Puri)Exp retrieved the bag containing one laptop of DELL company and hard cash of 42,030/- inside it(Total value Rs.65,000/-). Later on, the retrieved bag was handed over to its owner namely Gagan Goyal, S/O-Sibsankar Goyal, R/4 civil township, 769 area Panpush (Rourkela) with proper acknowledgement.

On 19.11.2019 at 04.00hrs information received from RPF/Post/BBS regarding left behind of bag in train No.12881 Exp. On arrival of said train at Kurdha station on duty RPF staff of Khurda road railway station retrieved the bag containing daily using items ,some dry foods with clothes approx valued-Rs.3000/- the retrieved bag handed over to its owner with proper acknowledgement.

On 20.11.2019 at about 05.00 hrs information received through DSCNL/Kurdha regarding left behind of bag in train No.12802 Purushottam Express. On arrival of said train at Puri station officer & staff of RPF/Post/ Puri retrieved the bag containing Laptop [Lenovo-X-270], Titan edge wrist watch, Sony music player, Shoes, LIC & Bank documents, Mouse & other personal belongings total Valued Rs. 90000/-. Later on, the retrieved bag was handed over to it owner namely Himanshu Dobal, At-C/110-Block-C-8, Rohini, Sector-5, Delhi Ⓜ-7205002937 with proper acknowledgement.

On 20.11.2019 at about 05.07 hrs information received from SCNL/Kurdha regarding left behind of one bag in train No.12844 Puri SF Express. On arrival of train at Brahmapur station officer & staff of RPF/Post/ Brahmapur retrieved the bag containing clothes valued Rs.5000/-. Later on, the retrieved bag was handed over to its owner namely Mr. Dilip Nayak, R/O-Phulubelari, Jagatsinghpur, Odisha with proper acknowledgement.

On 20.11.2019 at about 07:00 hrs received information from RPF POST/Titlagarh regarding left behind of 04 nos of Bag of two passengers in T/No.22828 (Surat-PUI) Express. On receipt of information on duty staff of RPF POST/Bolangir attended the said train and retrieve 04 nos bag containing domestic items and valuable documents Total value Rs 10000/-. Then both passenger namely:- Asutosh Podh, PNR No.8426620468 Ex-ST-PUI and Binod Sau PNR No.8126625359 Ex-ST-PUI attended at RPF POST/Bolangir and after duly verification about the ownership of the bags, all are handed over to them correctly with proper acknowledgement

On 21.11.2019 at about 11.00 hrs acting on reliable source of information a raid/search was conducted by officer and staff of RPF/Post/Srikakulam in a shop Iswarya Books and stationary, Door No-5306. Near RTC complex, Palakonda, Srikakulam to arrest the culprits in connection with RPF/Post/Srikakulam case No-C3C/1441/2019 dt 13- 11-19 u/s 143 Rly Act against unauthorized carrying the business of procuring and supplying Railway e-tickets on commission basis. During raid and searched detected 07 no’s of user-ids and seized 12 No of future tickets V/Rs- 12,260.39,16 no’s of past tickets, V/Rs.23112.96 and other incriminating articles with arrest of Gundu Mohan Rao, aged- 23yrs, S/o G.Durga Rao, R/o Door No.14-1046, N.K.Rajpuram PS-Palakonda, Dist-Srikakulam (Dist),AP. One user-id aabsri could not be opened as it was blocked. The arrested person was connected with the above case. The arrested person was released on surety bail (due to his mother’s serious illness) with instructions to appear before Hon’ble court or Enquiry officer, when and where required.

On 22.11.2019 at about 17.40 hrs Officer and staff of RPF/Post/Mahasamund, rescued 03 minor children from Platform No.01 of Mahasamund Rly Station on arrival of T/No. 58528 who were found without guardian. On being asked they disclosed names as 01. Muskan aged about 10 Years (Girl child), 02. Devika aged about 04 Years (Girl Child), 03.Krish aged about 05 Years (male Child) and they told their mother’s name as Rajkumari and Father’s name is Lakhan R/o Asta, Bhopal (M.P). Hence rescued children brought to RPF/POST/MSMD and the rescued minor children are handed over to Child Line/Mahasamund (CG) for further care and protection. In this connection SM/Mahasamund (MSMD) made DE vide NO. 5209 and 5210 dated 22.11.2019, also RPF POST /MSMD made a DE Vide No. 23 dated 22.11.2019.

On 22.11.2019 getting information, SIPF-A. K. Naik & CT -6035 R.M.Rao of RPF/POST/Palasa attended T/No-22888 exp. Arrived PSA at 08.23 Hrs ,in Coach no- B-3 ,Berth no-45 and recovered one OPPO F 3 plus mobile which was left behind by one bonafied lady passenger at Vizianagaram. The same mobile was handed over to her relatives at 11.00 Hrs on 22.11.2019 as per her direction correctly with proper acknowledgement. The value of the recovered property is Rs 19990/-

On 22.11.2019 on duty Officer SI Pandav Nayak of RPF Post/Puri recovered 01 pink colour left behind ladies vanity bag containing 01 gold wrist watch [15 gram gold used], ATM Card, Identity Card, Bank documents & other personal belongings from Coach No. B-3, Seat No.33 of train No.18451 [Tapaswini Express]. One passenger namely B.Chiranjivee Rao attended RPF Post Puri along with his wife & the recovered articles handed over to him with due verification & proper acknowledgement. After received of gold wrist watch the concern passenger stated that “impressive work done by RPF". Recovered property Valued Rs-50000/-

On 22.11.2019 at about 23.00 hrs, STF Team BBS with GRPS/BBS apprehended one luggage lifter namely Nakula Das @ Tukuna, Age-30 yrs, S/O- Late Nabaghana Das of Vill- Damana, PS- Chandrasekharpur, BBSR, Dist- Khorda, Odisha at back side of running room of Bhubaneswar railway station with seizure of one bag containing one Lava mobile, one voter card, PAN card one money purse containing liquid cash Rs-4250/- & daily used clothes. (Total Value- 10,250/-). On interrogation he admitted that he had stolen the same from the general compartment of T/No-11020 Konark Express on PF-06 at BBS station. In this connection the arrested person was connected with GRPS/BBS case no-177/2019 dated 22.11.2019 U/S 380 IPC on the basis of FIR lodged by Arun Kumar Sahoo, age-30 yrs, S/O- Arjuna Charan Sahoo, Vill- Araheikana, PS-Aul, Dist-Kendrapara, Odisha regading theft of his bag while boarding in general compartment of T/No-11020 (BBS-CSMT) Konark Express PF No-06 of BBS Rly station to proceed Vijayawada on the same date. On 23.11.2019 the arrested person forwarded in the Hon’ble court of SDJM/Bhubaneswar for further legal action.

On 23.11.2019 at about 13.00 hrs on duty RPF staff of Kesinga Railway station of RPF/Post/Titlagarh rescued one minor boy namely Sahik Deep aged about-11 yrs and brought to SMR/KSNG and made a station DE NO-4311. Later on the rescued minor boy was handed over to his father with proper acknowledgement. In this connection SM/KSNG registered a station DE NO-4316 Dtd-23.11.2019.

On date 23.11.2019, Train escorting staff of RPF/Post/CHE while escorting Train No. 11020 KONARK Express Ex. CHE to VSKP, retrieved one black colour travelling bag containing liquid cash Rs. 3,05000 kept near Seat No. 39 & 40 of S-5 coach. After passing the train from VZM Railway station one person namely as P. Chamundeshwar Rao, aged about 25 years, S/O. P. Shyam Sundar Rao, R/O. Door No. 34-8-40, Kisan Nagar, Simhapuri Colony, PS:- II Town, Dist:- Nellore (AP), came and requested to the escort party to hand over his Bag by stating that he is the owner of the bag and he was traveling Ex. PSA to Nellore with General Ticket No. 29651251 and he had gone to meet with the on duty TTE of the train for confirmation of a berth for him, keeping the bag near the seat No. 39 and 40 of S-5 Coach. He also disclosed that he is the owner of Sundar Krishna Jewellery at Kasibuga, Palasa and doing the business of Roll Gold. Further he furnished his PAN No. EZOPP2109G and Adhar Card No. 370188147299 and contact No. 6281395758. Then the recovered of cash Rs. 3,05,000/- ( three lakhs five thousands )was handed over to the rightful owner/ claimant P Chamundeshwar Rao with proper acknowledgement.

On 23.11.2019 at about 17.30 hrs. the STF team of RPF Post/BBS apprehended one TOPB offender while he was trying to flee away with one Mobile Phone (VIVO, worth-15,000/-) of one passenger from the charging point in the 2nd class waiting Hall at PF No-01 of BBS Rly station. Subsequently, the accused and victim were brought to GRPS/BBS for further legal action, where the victim lodged F.I.R. In this connection GRPS/BBS registered a case vide No- 179/2019 dated 24.11.2019 U/S 380 IPC. The accused person was forwarded before Hon’ble court on 24-11-19 for legal action.

On 23.11.2019 at about 08:00 hours, on the basis of CCTV footage, the CPDT/WAT and STF Team of Visakhapatnam Post apprehended 01 outsider namely Anand Kumar Behera Age-33 Years, R/o Pimpale Village Post, Ranpur Thana, Nayagar District, Odissa from General Waiting Hall, Visakhapatnam Railway Station with recovery of 01-Samsung Mobile and 01- Samsung worth 15,000/-. Accordingly, he was handed over to GRPS/VSKP and connected with case No 386/2019 U/S 379 IPC, Dtd: 15.11.2019. The accused was sent to judicial remand.

On dated 24.11.19 at about 8.45 hrs. Officer and staff of RPF/Post/CTC recovered/seized 06 bags of Charcoal weighting about 120 Kg value Rs 1500/-(approx.) from lavatory of coach no 998443 EcoR of train no-68413 (TLHR-PUI) Passenger at Cuttack Railway station as unclaimed. In this connection RPF/POST/CTC has regd. a UCR case vide No C-5-Pt-II-05/01(11)/2019 dtd 24.11.19. The seized charcoal is being handed over to forest department..

On dated 24.11.19 at about 20.37 hrs. Officer and staff of RPF/Post/CTC recovered/seized 06 bags of Charcoal weighting about 60 Kg value Rs 750/-(approx.) from lavatory of coach no 968407 SE of T/no-58131 ROU-PUI Pass. at Cuttack railway station as unclaimed In this connection RPF/POST/CTC has regd. a UCR case vide No C-5-Pt-II-06/01(11)/2019 dtd 24.11.19. The seized charcoal is being handed over to forest department..

On 23.11.2019, at 22.15 hrs. while the officer and staff of RPF Post/DVD were performing routine check in T/No. 02844 Coimbatore-Santragacchi Spl on arrival at PF No 4, received complaint of chest pain of one passenger namely Manoj Choudhary Age 56 yrs, R/o Darasai Sankarpur, Arunaodaya Market, Badambadi P S. Cuttack (Phone No. 9937546844 vide PNR No.4100296283 Ex-CBE to BBS, Coach No-B-6 Berth No.71). Immediately, the ill passenger was carried to one Private Hospital (KIMS Icon Hospital/Sheelanagar) in 108 Ambulance with the help available staff of RPF Post DVD. One staff of RPF Post/DVD was deputed as attendant of the ill passenger till arrival of the family members. In this connection, the ill passenger and his family members expressed gratitude to RPF.

On dtd- 19.11.2019 at about 21.45 Hrs on arrival of T/NO-13352 at Titilagarh Railway station, the Train Escorting party of RPF/POST/MNGD attended RPF/POST/TIG and handed over of 03 nos. unclaimed luggage’s containing (One blue colour Trolly bag, one blue bag and one pithu bag) P/Cash-RS 2500/-, Aadhar card, SBI Pass book, UCO Bank/pass book, Matriculate certificate, 04 Diploma Mark sheet, 01 Nokia mobile phone, Hair cutting machine, , Diary of LIC from Rear GS Coach of the said train with proper inventory. In this regard contact made over phone number -8658392296 found in LIC Diary. On dtd-24.11.2019 at about 14.00 Hrs 03 persons namely Bibhuti bhusan Pujhari age about 19 Years , Panchanan Pujhari (Father of victim) and Anup kumar Dash (Brother-In-LAW) attended RPF/Post/TIG and the recovered luggage handed over to them with proper acknowledgement. Furhter it could be learnt that on dt 19-11-19 Bibhuti Bhusan Pujhari while travelling GS coach in train No T/NO-13352 Express Ex- VSKP at about 18.30 hrs was kidnapped by 05 unknown persons before arrival of the train at Rayagada. Later he was rescued by Local police Rayagada in local area on 21-11-19 with arrest of 06 outsiders in connection with Rayagada police station case No-425/19 dt 20-11-19 u/s-364(A)/34 IPC registered on the basis of FIR lodged by father of the victim.

On 25.11.19 at about 10.00 hrs officers and staff of RPF/Post/Jagdalpur conducted a raid in the shop namely Jai Maa Computer & Printers, Agrasen Chowk, Geedam Road, in front of SBI ATM, Jagadalpur, Dist. Bastar, C.G. and could able to apprehend one tout namely Indrajeet Singh Rajput, aged about 37 years, S/o. Ramswaroop Singh Rajput, R/o. Jai Maa Computer, Agrasen Chowk, Geedam Road, in front of SBI ATM, Jagadalpur, Dist. Bastar, C.G. with recovery of 03 nos of Future tickets Rs. 4481/- + 07 Nos. past E-ticket Rs. 15,360/- Total value Rs. 19,841/-. In this connection RPF/Post/Jagdalpur registered a case vide No C3C 74/2019 u/s 143 of Rly Act. The accused person released on self bail bond as per guidelines of Hon’ble High Court of C.G. on 25.11.2019 vide No. MCRC No. 4643 of 2017

On 25.11.19 at about 10.00 hrs officers and staff of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam along with local police of PM Paleam conducted a raid in the shop namely “Sri Venkateswara on line works and Xerox, Door.no.11-59 MIG-94 APHB Colany PS-P.M.Palem, Visakhapatnam, and could able to apprehend one tout namely Dukka Shreedhar aged 25 years, S/O. D. Appa Rao, R/O. Kopu Umilada, PS: Santha Bamali, Dist: Srikakulam, AP, with recovery of 05 no’s of tatkal/normal future e-tickets Rs. 710.95 + 07 sheets of past e-tickets Rs: 4026.84/- Total value Rs. 4737.79. In this connection RPF/Post/VSKP registered a case vide C3C 5569/19 dtd. 25.11.2019 U/S 143 Railway act. The accused will be produced before Hon’ble VI MMC VSKP on 25.11.2019.

On 25.11.19 at about 10.35 hrs officers and staff of CIB/Team/Visakhapatnam conducted a raid in the shop namely Dsqure Internet Centre Door.no.8-7/3 near Madurawada bridge down situated at Maduravada and could able to apprehend one tout namely Imidisetti Venkata Satya Chandra Prasad, aged about 43 years, S/O. (L) Chandra Mohan Rao, Flat No. 84, Midilapuri VUDA Colony, Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam. With recovery of 05 nos of Future tickets Rs. 7135/- and 10 nos of Past tickets Rs: 10043/ Total Valued Rs. 17,178/-. In this connection RPF/Post/VSKP regd a case vide C3C 5570/19 dtd. 25.11.2019 U/S 143 Railway act. The accused person will be forwarded in the Hon’ble court of VI MM court VSKP on 26.11.19 for legal action.

On 25.11.19 at about 12.00 hrs officers and staff of RPF/Post/VSKP/Duvvada conducted a raid in the first left room of a residence Door No. 48-3-1, Sri Nagara opposite to BVK college, dwaraka Nagara, Visakhapatnam and could able to apprehend one tout namely Nimmakayala Srinivas Rao, age- 53 yrs, S/o(L) Surya Rao, R/o. Door No. 48-3- 1Srinagara BVK college, Dwaraka Nagara, Visakhapatnam, AP. With seizure of 05 Nos of Future tickets Rs. 6256.10/-, 100 Nos of Past/used tickets value Rs: 2,65,694.15 Total Value Rs. 2,71,950.25/-. In this connection RPF/Post/VSKP regd a case vide C3C 5571/19 Dated. 25.11.19 U/S 143 of the Railway Act. The accused person will be forwarded to Hon’ble court of VI MM court VSKP on 26.11.19 for legal action

On 25.11.19 on getting information regarding left behind of one black color bag containing cash Rs. 25000/-, Jacket and used clothes in Train No. 18517 Exp. of one bonafide passenger namely Ravish Kumar Srivastava S/o Auyodhya Lal, R/o Vill/PS Kurwar, Dist. Sultanganj (UP) who travelled ex. Raipur to Vizianagaram having Ticket vide PNR No. 6337348420 in coach No. B-3 berth No. 35. Immediately Train escorting party attended the said coach, recovered the same and handed over at RPF Post/VSKP. On the same date the bag with cash handed over to its owner with proper acknowledgement.

On 25.11.19 on getting information from RPF/OP/YP regarding left behind of one hand bag containing cash Rs. 6,350/-, 02 Nos. of wrist watch, 01 Nos. Mobile, 02 Nos. of Gold rings and 01 Nos. Silver chain, ATM Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter Identity card. Total value Rs. 18000/- in Train No. 18514 exp of one lady passenger having PNR No. 653-7169596 while travelling Ex VSKP to Jeypore in coach No. S-3 berth No. 58. Immediately train escorting party of RPF/Post/Jagdalpur attended the coach and recovered the same. On the same day the husband of claimant attended at RPF/post/Jagdalpur and after properly verification the same was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement.

On 25.11.19 getting information from SCNL/Kurdha regarding left behind of one bag containing books and documents value Rs. 2000/- in T/No-12837(HWH-PUI) exp of one bonafide passenger namely Sukanta Kumar Mohaptra in coach No-A-1 berth No 11 and 17 vide PNR No-6737214784 Ex HWH-BBS. On arrival of said train at Puri Railway station officer and staff of RPF/Post/Puri attended the train and recovered the bag. Matter informed to the victim through mobile and handed over the same at RPF/post/Puri with proper acknowledgement.

On dt 26-11-19, after obtaining search warrant from the Hono'ble Court of VI MM for railways VSKP, a raid and search was conducted in the internet shop of V.R. Net center situated at Dadi Appa Rao complex road Pendurty,Visakhapatnam by officers and staffs of CIB Waltair/Rayagada and one lady constable of RPF/Post/Marripalem in connection with carrying illegal business of procuring and supplying railway reservation e-tickets. During which one tout namely Alla Venkata Rao, aged 42 years, S/o Appa Rao, Caste: Gavara Door No.11-66/1, BC Colony, Mahalaxminagar, Ward No.71 PS-.Pendurti, Distt.-Visakhapatnam. AP(owner of the shop) was arrested with recovery of 34 nos of future general e-tickets value RS 60,595/-, 37 nos of past Tatkal/General e- tickets valued RS 70,290/- Total ticket valued Rs. 1,30,885/- (Future and used Tatkal/General e-tickets).which were generated by using 08 no's of personal user ID's. The arrested person and seized articles were handed over to PC/RPF/Marripalem where a case vide no C3C/2474/2019 u/s 143(1) of railway act has been registered. The arrested person will be forwarded in the Hon’ble court of for legal action.

On 26.11.2019 at about 06.30 hrs train escorting party of train No.12802 [Purushottam Express] of RPF/Post/Puri, retrieved one money purse containing liquid cash Rs-2640/-, Service identity Card, SBI ATM Card, Driving license & Adhar Card from Coach No. A-1, Seat No.52 of train No.12802 [Purushottam Express]. The retrieved money purse was handed over to the rightful owner namely Ayas Ranjan Majhi, with proper acknowledgment.

On 26.09.2019 at about 21.30 hrs, one complaint namely Anil Kumar Sahoo attended at GRPS/Bhubaneswar and lodged FIR regarding theft of his blue color bag containing VIVO mobile,Cash-6320/-, & other articles (total value Rs. 14,320/-) in front of ATM of Bhubaneswar Rly Station. In this connection GRPS/Bhubaneswar registered a case vide No-151/19 dated 27.09.2019 U/S- 379 IPC against unknown culprit. Further officer & staff of RPF/STF Team/Bhubaneswar and GRPS/Bhubaneswar apprehended the culprit namely Silu Nayak @ Silu, at Bhubaneswar Railway Station with recovery of the stolen property and connected with the above mentioned case.

On 27.09.2019 from 11.30 hrs. to 14.30 hrs., Officer and staff of Vizianagaram in co-ordination with Commercial staff conducted a drive against touting activity in the shop of Panchakshari Meeseva Centre at Door No.1-17-12/1, Salipeta Junction, near Gurajada School cantonment, I Town P.S, Dist: Vizianagaram, AP State and arrested one person namely: Allada Panchakshari, Age- 36 years, S/O Samba Murthy, R/O. D.No.1-17-12/1, Salipeta Junction, I Town P.S, Dist: Vizianagaram, AP and seized 06 Nos of Railway Tatkal Used E – tickets valued Rs. 9875.00 and 02 No’s of Railway General Future E – tickets valued Rs. 1430.00 along with Computer accessories and other incriminating articles. In this connection, RPF Post/Vizayanagaram regd. a case vide No. C3C/1229/2019 U/S- 143 Rly Act, dated 27.09.2019.

On 27.09.2019 at about 11.55 hrs, officer & staff of RPF/Post/Puri rescued one male child namely K.Tanvish(M-02 yrs) from Puri Railway Station who was separated from his parents. The rescued child was handed over to his parents after proper verification. The matter was informed to GRPs & SS for their respective part of duty.SS/Puri made a DE vide No-1441/A dt 27-09-19. On 27.09.2019 at about 07.00 hrs, officer & staff of RPF/Post/Vishakhapatnam retrieved one left behind luggage, total valued Rs.10,000/- in train no.12728 . Later on the retrieved luggage was handed over to its owner namely B.Sitaraman under proper acknowledgement.

On 28.11.2019 at 04.30 hrs. one complainant namely Bijay Kumar Sethi, age-29 yrs, S/O- Chendrasena Sethi, Vill- Khamol, PS-Derabish, Dist-Kendrapara, Odisha lodged FIR with GRPS/BBS regarding theft of his bag containing one VIVO mobile, one Adhar card, one money purse having cash Rs-3050/- & daily used clothes (Total Value- 11050/-) from PF No-06 of Bhubaneswar railway station. In this connection, GRPS/BBS has regd. a case vide no-184/19 U/S 379 IPC dtd.28.11.2019. Acting upon the source, officer and staff of GRPS/BBS along with STF/Team/BBS conducted search nearby circulating area of Bhubaneswar railway station during which 01 outsider was apprehended at the end of PF No-06 with recovery of above stolen materials and connected with the above mentioned case.

On 28.11.2019 a joint secret watch was conducted by officers and staff of CIB/OP/JJKR and RPF/Post/ Cuttack at PRS counter, High Court, Cuttack against touting activities from 10.30 hrs and onwards. During course of watch at about 11.05 hrs they could able to apprehended one tout namely Santosh Singh, Aged- 29 years S/o Sarat Singh, Vill-Kazibazar, PS-Lalbag, Dist-Cuttack and seized one Tatkal reservation ticket bearing PNR No. 663-7519555, Ticket No. Q02438693 of train No. 12870 . Ex. Howrah to CSTM (Sleeper class) Valued Rs. 3760/- for 04 persons on journey date 29.11.2019, two blank reservation slip and Liquid cash of Rs. 300/-. In this connection RPF/Post/Cuttack registered a case vide No. C3C/4019/2019 dtd.28.11.2019 U/S 143 Rly. Act. The accused forwarded in the Hon’ble court of SDJM(S) CTC with relevant documents for necessary legal action.

On 28.11.2019, on basis of source information and prior De-Coy checking conducted on 21.11.2019, a raid was conducted by officer and staff of detective or investigation wing HQ/CIB/ECoR in the shop Sabitri Enterprises run by one Abhimanyu Swain. Age-23yrs, S/O-Antarjyami Swain, R/O-Solabhanja, PO-Jalarpur, PS-Niali, Dist- Cuttack situated at Sector 1, plot no.14, Niladri Vihar, Ps: Chandrashekharpur, Bhubaneswar, Dist- Khorda. The raid party showed the De-Coy ticket (One future E- ticket) vide PNR No. 643-7232224, train no. 18410 date of journey 02.12.2019 Ex BBS to KGP value Rs 228.19/- to the tout. He also admitted that the ticket was generated by him. In this context, the accuse was arrested U/S 179(2) of Railway Act for committing an offence U/S 143 of Railway Act. In this connection, a case vide no.C3C -2469/2019 dated 28.11.2019 U/s 143 of Railway Act was registered by RPF/Post/ BBS and the accused forwarded in the Hon’ble court of SDJM/ Bhubaneswar at where he sent to jail custody till 11.12.2019.

On 28.11.19 officer and staff of RPF/Post/Barahampur along with officer and staff of local police station Digapahandi/Ganjam conducted a raid in the travel agency “INDIAN Travels’’ situated at Main Road Digapahandi and able to arrested one tout namely Rabindra Prasad Sahu, aged – 48 years, S/O- (l) Judhistir Sahu R/O Ramchandra Nagar 1st line Digapahandi P.S- Digapahandi Dist- Ganjam (Odisha) with recovery of 12 no’s of Railway Reservation feature E-tickets value- Rs.9197/- & 09 Nos. of Past Ticket value Rs. 43395/-, Total value Rs. 52,592/-. In this connection RPF Post/BAM registered a case vide No.1718/2019 dtd.28.11.2019 U/S-143 Railway Act. The arrested person will be forwarded to SDJM/BAM on 29.11.2019 for legal action.

On 28.11.2019 at about 12.00hrs one person namely Bhajamohan Behera attended at RPF/POST/SBP and stated that while he was buying snacks at Sambalpur station, he missed his son namely Abhi Behera aged about 13 yrs in GS coach of train No-12880 Exp. In response, Officer and staff of RPF/OP/BXQ attended the said train at Jharsuguda Railway station and rescued the minor boy from the said train. Subsequently the matter was informed to the father of missing minor boy and after verification the boy was handed over to his father with proper acknowledgement.

On 28.11.2019 getting information from one bonafide passenger namely Dupana Yadav Rao, S/O D.Mohinamma, Ichhapuram, Dist-Srikakulam, AP regarding left behind of his one Air bag containing Gold armaments weighing about 04 tulas & Liquid cash Rs. 3000/- and clothes Total value Rs.1,50,000 (approx) in the rear general coach of Train No. 17480 express. Immediately officer and staff of RPF/Post/Vijaynagaram attended and retrieved the air bag from the train. The same was handed over to its actual owner with proper acknowledgement.

On 27.11.2019 officer and staff of RPF/Post/KBJ retrieved one vivo mobile phone Value Rs.12,000/-(approx) from the charging point at PF No- 1 of Kantabanji Railway station. On getting call from one Harishankar Bidika, S/O-Danari Bidika, R/O- Kathaguda, PS- Kalyanpur, Dist-Raygada(Odisha), it could be learnt that the mobile was left behind while the passenger was about to board in train No-18518 Exp at Kantabanji Railway station. The person attended RPF/Post/Kantabanji on 28.11.2019 at about 11.30 hrs and the mobile was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement.

On 28.11.2019, officer and staff of STF/ BBS seized 04 bags of Char coal (weight about 60 kg) Total Valued Rs 600/-. (Approx).from PF No- 02 of BNBH PH, which was lying as unclaimed. Hence, the recovered Char coal bags were brought to RPF/Post/BBS and regd a case vide No- C5-II/05/01(11)2019 dated 28.11.2019 and inform to forest office Mancheswar but they stated that due to shortage of staff they will received the same shortly. The said properties are kept safe custody in Post Premises for further disposal.
