Ticket to Ride Comes to Mac App Store Days of Wonder steams onto the Mac app store for the first time, including solo game play and online mode against Mac, PC, Linux and iPad opponents
Los Altos, CA; Paris, France – April 5, 2012 – Days of Wonder, developers of high- quality digital and physical board gaming experiences that “Play Different™”, today announced that their marquee board game title, Ticket to Ride, is available for the first time in the Mac App store. This new release of the game brings the award- winning gameplay and maps Ticket to Ride players know and love, while letting Mac rail barons play online against opponents around the world on Mac, PC, Linux, or even iPad.
The Mac version of Ticket to Ride includes solo and online game play on the classic Ticket to Ride USA map, as well as in-app purchases for all of the digital maps and game modes released on iPad to date: USA 1910, Europe, and Switzerland.

Online players will find no shortage of opponents, with a new game starting every 4 seconds on Ticket to Ride Online servers. If players prefer to play solo, they can test their skills against multiple AI opponents, each with their own style of gameplay and difficulty level.
The physical table-top version of Ticket to Ride has sold over 2 million copies, making it one of the most successful independent board game releases of the past decade. Since the release of Ticket to Ride for iPad and iPhone, iOS sales of the game have passed 750,000 and counting with over 20,000 five-star reviews from App Store users.
