MINUTES OF A MEETING OF BRADWALL PARISH COUNCIL Held on Wednesday 27th May 2015 at Bradwall Village Hall PRESENT: Cllr. G. Gnyp – Chairman BPC Cllr. G. Williams – BPC Cllr. S. Beck – BPC Cllr. K. Roden – BPC Mrs F. Stops – Clerk BPC Note: The Chairman, Councillors and Clerk extended their deepest condolences to Cllr. Ken Roden and family after the recent, unexpected death of his wife Margaret. 1. APOLOGIES Mr Richard Smedley Cllr. J. Wray - CEC 2. MINUTES OF LAST MEETING The minutes of the meeting held on 25th March 2015, which have been circulated, were approved and signed as a correct record. Proposed Cllr. K. Roden, Seconded Cllr. G. Williams. 3. MATTERS FOR REPORT a) Highways. This is an ongoing problem. A contractor did come and carry out some work, CE thought the problem was fixed but as we know it’s not! The Clerk has reported it again and sent photos to John Tickle. b) Zulu Bridge. The Clerk met CE officer Stuart Bateman on site on 24th April. He agreed that the bridge is too narrow for HGV / articulated vehicles unless they definitely need to use it for access. He needs to liaise with Middlewich Town Council because it is actually in their parish, but he will come up with a plan of suitable signs and actions. c) Boundary Signs. A local company (Plan It Signs of Newcastle, Staffs) have recently provided 4 signs to another parish for a total cost of £552. These were then erected on existing posts by CE. Bradwall will require new posts and signs at 4 locations.

  • Appendix 4 Detailed Proposals for Each Ward – Organised by Local Area Partnership (LAP)
Appendix 4 Detailed proposals for each Ward – organised by Local Area Partnership (LAP) Proposed Wards within the Knutsford Local Area Partnership Knutsford Local Area Partnership (LAP) is situated towards the north-west of Cheshire East, and borders Wilmslow to the north-east, Macclesfield to the south-east and Congleton to the south. The M6 and M56 motorways pass through this LAP. Hourly train services link Knutsford, Plumley and Mobberley to Chester and Manchester, while in the east of this LAP hourly trains link Chelford with Crewe and Manchester. The town of Knutsford was the model for Elizabeth Gaskell's novel Cranford and scenes from the George C. Scott film Patton were filmed in the centre of Knutsford, in front of the old Town Hall. Barclays Bank employs thousands of people in IT and staff support functions at Radbroke Hall, just outside the town of Knutsford. Knutsford is home to numerous sporting teams such as Knutsford Hockey Club, Knutsford Cricket Club, Knutsford Rugby Club and Knutsford Football Club. Attractions include Tatton Park, home of the RHS Flower show, the stately homes Arley Hall, Tabley House and Peover Hall, and the Cuckooland Museum of cuckoo clocks. In detail, the proposals are: Knutsford is a historic, self-contained urban community with established extents and comprises the former County Ward of Knutsford, containing 7 polling districts. The Parish of Knutsford also mirrors the boundary of this proposal. Knutsford Town is surrounded by Green Belt which covers 58% of this proposed division. The proposed ward has excellent communications by road, motorway and rail and is bounded to the north by Tatton Park and to the east by Birkin Brook.

  • Unit 2A Bradwall Court Bradwall Road Sandbach Cheshire CW11 1GE
Unit 2A Bradwall Court Bradwall Road Sandbach Cheshire CW11 1GE 01270 766214 [email protected] Dear Parent/Carer, Introducing Wider Opportunities (Whole Class Instrumental Tuition) All pupils in your child’s class will soon be receiving free whole class instrumental lessons as part of the school curriculum. This is part of an exciting scheme to provide all children at primary school with the opportunity to experience the excitement and challenge of learning a musical instrument. During their weekly class music lesson, all the pupils in the class will learn a musical instrument chosen by the child from a range of instruments. Your child will have the opportunity to try all of the available instruments before deciding which one to play. The lessons will then be delivered by the class teacher and specialist instrumental teachers from the Love Music Trust. The class will learn together as a band and throughout the lessons they will cover the National Curriculum for Music. Wider Opportunities is not designed to replace ‘traditional’ instrumental tuition that happens in schools. The programme is designed to give children the experience of playing a musical instrument and all of the fun and enjoyment that comes from it. After their initial lessons the Love Music Trust will help those children who wish to continue playing their instrument to find the best place for them to continue to learn. Once your child has gained some confidence on the instrument they have chosen they will be able to bring it home to practise what they have been studying in the lesson. Tutors will provide your child with information about how to care for instruments at home as well as tips on how to practice at home.

Brereton Neighbourhood Plan Submission July 2015 Brereton Parish Neighbourhood Plan Brereton Neighbourhood Plan “What you hear from the people of the parish and what you can see with your own eyes is how fortunate we are to live here. With our surrounding local towns expanding by the day we have a responsibility to preserve the best of what we have whilst meeting the needs of current and future generations.” John Charlesworth, Brereton resident and Neighbourhood Plan team member. Page 1 Brereton Parish Neighbourhood Plan About This Document Brereton Parish Neighbourhood Plan Submission This document is the Submission version of the Brereton Parish Neighbourhood Plan (the Plan). Regulation 15 of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, directs that the Submission of the Neighbourhood Plan is used to submit to Cheshire East Council for formal consideration and wider consultation. In January 2013 Brereton Parish Council began to develop the Neighbourhood Plan with the aim of shaping the vision for Brereton Parish until 2030. In consultations over the last two years the whole community has helped to develop the Plan. You have told us what changes you would like to see within the Parish and how we can enhance and preserve the things you value most. This Plan and its proposed polices reflects these community aspirations and views, and will significantly influence future planning decisions for new developments within the Parish. Reference to Supporting Documents is widely used throughout the Plan. These references, for example (ref. SD/B01), relate to the table of Supporting Documents listed in Appendix B. The Plan has been prepared by Brereton Parish Council, the qualifying body responsible for creating the Neighbourhood Plan.

From this, the vision for this Local Environment Agency Plan (LEAP) area is of a sustainable environment capable of supporting diverse natural species and habitats, providing opportunities for recreational usage and access, and one which is valued by local people. The Environment Agency will work in partnership with area users to realise the full environmental potential of the Weaver/Dane area and fulfil the vision. The aim will be to create and maintain a balanced environment which will meet the Agency's overall aim of contributing to the worldwide goal of Sustainable Development, which has been defined as "Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs".
