YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMMING Crazy Sexy Cancer Committed to offering the Hudson Valley year- round programming, the Woodstock Film Festival presents screenings throughout the year, from to the Capital Region. This year the annual WAMC Northeast Public Radio/WFF collaboration Independent Film on the Air, presented Crazy Sexy Cancer by local filmmaker Kris Carr. WFF also presented an early summer screening series sponsored by Assemblyman Kevin A. Cahill, which featured films such as Racing Daylight, Gracie and Twelve The Painted Veil Disciples of Nelson Mandela. The Hudson Valley Programmer’s Group kicked off its touring series with filmmaker-comedian Mitchell Rose’s The Mitch Show . Other year-round screenings since last year’s festival featured An Unreasonable Man (with IFC and Red Envelope Entertainment), The Painted Veil (with Warner Independent Pictures), and Before the Music Dies (with B-Side).

Revision Mechanical Bull Mechanical Bull grew out of the ashes of Chase Pierson’s first marriage. After the initial thrill of freedom and independence that followed the break up, Pierson began writing country songs that reflected his experiences in marriage and living the American dream. After years of wandering, Pierson settled down in Woodstock where he teamed up with guitarist/ producer Adam Widoff and began recording some songs. His debut album Songs to Get Divorced To was released in early 2007.
