Ray Skillman Auto Group, the Perry Township Education Foundation and MSD of Perry Township Announce Partnership

The Perry Township Education Foundation (PTEF) and Metropolitan School District of Perry Township are pleased to announce a long-term partnership with Ray Skillman Auto Group to benefit the students in Perry Township schools. Beginning in 2012, owner Ray Skillman has pledged to donate $100,000 per year for a total of $900,000 to underwrite the cost of the installation of a synthetic turf field at Perry Stadium in the Metropolitan School District of Perry Township. Installation of the synthetic turf field will begin in April and will be ready for the fall 2013 football season.

In an effort to inspire the Perry Township community to invest philanthropically in its schools, PTEF has announced the Ray Skillman Challenge. The Ray Skillman Challenge is an initiative to raise an additional $1,000,000 from private contributors to benefit the students in Perry Township schools. The Ray Skillman gift challenges the Perry Township community to also partner in the effort to provide program and facility upgrades. These private dollars will be solicited by a very dedicated group of Perry Township community members. Update on Facilities and Operations
