청년 여러분 안녕하십니까? MBN 사장 장승준입니다. MBN Y FORUM 2020 awaits young South Koreans' active participation as it will serve as a significant venue for them to share the precious value of finding yourself. 대한민국 청년들을 위한 멘토링 축제 ‘MBN Y 포럼 2020’이 청년 여러분을 기다리고 있습니다. Y는 20~30대 젊은 세대를 뜻하는 Young, Youth의 줄임말입니다. MBN은 앞으로 이들 20~30대 젊은 세 ‘Y’ stands for ‘Young and Youth’ which refers to the young generation in their 20s and 30s. From now on, 대를 Y세대로 부르고자 합니다. 이들은 참신한 발상, 창조적 아이디어를 높이 멀리 날아가는 바람개비처럼 MBN will call the young generation as Y generation. This generation will grow with novel inspiration and 전 세계로 퍼뜨릴 수 있는 세대입니다. 엠블럼 Y는 Y세대의 이러한 특징을 모아 능동적이면서도 유연한 모 creative idea through the world like pinwheel in the sky. # 진정한 ‘나’를 찾자 AGENDA

“내 속에서 솟아 나오려는 것, 바로 그것을 나는 살아보려고 했다. 왜 그것이 그토록 어려웠을까?”

우리는 죽는 그 순간까지 내가 누구인지, 내가 무엇을 원하는지, 진짜 ‘나’를 찾을 수 있을까요? <데미안>의 저자인 헤르만 헤세(Hermann Hesse)는 ‘나’를 찾아내는 게 정말 중요하다고 말합니다. 그는 먼 훗날이 되어 나이 먹어서야 “왜 그것이 그토록 어려웠을까?”라고 반성을 합니다. 이처럼 자기 자신을 찾아 내 삶의 주인공이 되는 것은 쉽지 않습니다. <데미안>의 주인공 소년 싱클레어는 개막쇼 10대 때 ‘어두운 세계’와 ‘밝은 세계’의 두 세계를 넘나들며 혼란스런 생활을 합니다. 하지만, 데미안을 만나 내 삶의 주인공은 ‘나’ (LIFE is YOURS!) 면서 데미안을 만나며 자기 내면에 귀 기울이며 ‘나’를 찾아냅니다.

세션 1. 두드림쇼 “새는 알에서 나오려고 투쟁한다. ‘나만의 길’을 만들다 (Go Your Own Way) 알은 세계이다. 태어나려는 자는 하나의 세계를 깨뜨려야 한다. 새는 신에게로 날아간다. 세션 2. 미래쇼 신의 이름은 압락사스.” ‘미래의 길’을 열다 (Build the Future) 데미안이 소년 싱클레어에게 한 말입니다. 헤세는 이 말을 통해 ‘나’를 찾기 위해서는 자신을 둘러싼 질서, 세션 3. 복세힘살쇼 즉 기존 세계를 깨뜨려야 한다는 메시지를 전하고 있습니다. 복잡한 세상 힘내서 살자 (Stay Strong, Stay Positive) 진정한 자아를 발견하기 위해서는 새가 알에서 나오려는 투쟁과 고통과 같은 과정이 있어야만 새로운 세 계가 펼쳐지고 진정한 자아가 발견된다는 것입니다. 우리는 태어나면서부터 사회라는 틀에 갇혀 도덕, 가치관 등 사회가 요구하는 질서를 따를 것을 강요받고 세션 4. 영웅쇼 있습니다. 영웅들, 성공의 비밀을 말하다 (Success is OOO) 하지만, 이 질서는 내가 만든 ‘나의 질서’가 아니라 다른 사람들이 만들어 놓은 ‘타인의 질서’입니다. 진정한 자신을 발견하려면 타인이 만들어놓은 질서(세상)를 깨고 나를 위한 세상을 만들어야 합니다. 세션 5. 영웅쇼 특별 공연

청년 여러분! # 남이 가지 않은 길을 가자 여러분들은 진정한 ‘나’를 찾고 있습니까. 내가 가고 싶은 ‘내 길’을 걷고 있습니까. 혹시 자기 자신의 길보 다는 사회가 원하고 부모님이 원하는 길을 가고 있지는 않나요? 헤르만 헤세는 “사람의 진정한 직업은 자 신에게 가는 길을 찾는 것이다(The true profession of a man is to find his way to himself).”라고 말합니 다. 여러분들은 ‘진정한 직업’을 찾는데 소홀하고 있지는 않나요? 다른 사람이 원하는 길과 자기 자신이 원 “노란 숲 속에 길이 두 갈래로 났었습니다. 하는 길을 혼동하고 있지는 않나요? 나는 두 길을 다 가지 못하는 것을 안타깝게 생각하면서, 오랫동안 서서 한 길이 굽어 꺾여 내려간 데까지, 내 삶의 주인공은 나!(Life Is Yours!) 바라다볼 수 있는 데까지 멀리 바라다보았습니다. 내 삶의 주인공은 바로 나입니다. 인류 역사를 바꾼 수많은 영웅들은 스스로 인생을 설계하고 주역이 되 ~ 중략 ~ 어 스스로를 ‘내 삶의 주인공’으로 만들었습니다. 자신의 원하는 ‘길’을 선택해 주체적인 삶으로 자신의 운 훗날에 나는 어디선가 한숨을 쉬며 이야기할 것입니다. 명을 바꾸고 인류의 역사를 바꿨습니다. 숲 속에 두 갈래 길이 있었다고, 나는 사람이 적게 간 길을 택했노라고, 그들은 불가능은 없다는 마음가짐으로 남들이 가지 않은 길을 갔고, 자신의 길, 자신의 스토리를 만들었 그래서 그것 때문에 모든 것이 달라졌다고.” 습니다. 이 같은 긍정적인 생각으로 ‘꿈꾸고 도전하는’ 두드림(Do Dream)을 실천했습니다. 여러분도 두드 - 로버트 프로스트(Robert Frost) 림으로 ‘내 삶의 주인공을 나’로 만드는데 도전하십시오. 로버트 프로스트의 ‘가지 않은 길(The Road Not Taken!)’의 시입니다. 청년 여러분은 지금 어떤 길을 가려고 하고 있나요? 어떤 길에 들어섰고 어떤 길을 걷고 싶은가요? 그 길 은 내가 원하는 길인가요? 주변 사람들이 원하는 길인가요? 내면의 소리에 귀 기울이십시오. 우리는 살면서 항상 선택의 문제에 부딪칩니다. 쉬운 길을 갈까, 아니면 새로운 길에 도전을 할까. 쉬운 길 을 가는 것은 편하지만, 자기의 길이 아닙니다. 반면 새로운 도전의 길은 멀고 험할 수 있지만, 내가 만들어 가는 길입니다. 먼 훗날 후회가 없는 길을 선택하십시오.

‘내 길’을 찾아 일주일 만에 사표 쓰다 # 대한민국 영웅들 모두 ‘나의 길’을 걸었다 ‘스타일난다’로 창업 성공신화를 만든 창업자 김소희. 그녀는 입사 일주일 만에 대표로부터 ‘넌 회사 일이 맞지 않다’는 말을 듣자 바로 사표를 던졌습니다. ‘내 길’을 개척하기로 한 겁니다. 그리고 23세에 국내 최대 여성 의료 및 화장품 쇼핑몰 ‘스타일난다’를 창업 했습니다. 불가능을 가능으로 바꾼 사람들, 남이 가지 않은 길을 간 사람들. 이들은 모두 ‘나의 길’을 갔다는 공통점 처음 인터넷으로 옷을 판다고 했을 때 “누가 옷을 입어보지도 않고 사느냐”며 다들 웃었습니다. ‘사업이 성 이 있습니다. ‘나의 길’을 설계하고 개척해 그들만의 성공스토리를 만들며 세상을 감동시켰습니다. 공하지 못할 것이다’는 사람이 너무나 많아 자신감마저 떨어졌고 사람 만나기마저 꺼려졌습니다. 하지만 그녀는 묵묵히 ‘자신의 길’을 개척했습니다. 결국 10년 만에 스타일난다는 매출 1,000억 원을 돌파 했고 백화점은 물론 면세점까지 입점했습니다. 박찬호, ‘메이저리그의 길’을 처음 걷다 다음 단계로 화장품 사업에도 도전했습니다. 무모한 일이라면 주변에서 말렸지만, 김소희는 대성공을 이 1994년 대학교 2학년 재학 중이던 대학생 박찬호는 미국 프로야구 진출이라고 하는 ‘색다른 길’에 도전했 뤄냈습니다. 세계적인 화장품 회사 로레알이 회사를 6,000억 원에 인수한 겁니다. 그녀가 ‘자신의 길’을 걷 습니다. 지 않았다면 불가능했던 결과입니다. 그녀는 말합니다.“포기하지 말아라. 자기가 가는 길이 곧 길이 된다.” “100억 벌어오겠습니다.”
