    Biografie Anthony Lawrence Carey Geboren 16.10.1953 in Watsonwille/Kalifornien USA Sein musikalisches Talent wird von seinen Eltern erkannt und gefördert. Aus dem begabten Kind wird ein Multi-Instrumentalist und einer der weltbesten "Singer und Songwriter". Erste Banderfahrung sammelt Tony Carey mit der Band "Blessings", bis er 1975 von Ritchie Blackmore als Keyboarder für die Band "Rainbow" entdeckt und verpflichtet wird. Nach zwei erfolgreichen Jahren und Tourneen über die ganze Welt verlässt Tony Carey "Rainbow" 1977. 1978 begegnet er dem Produzenten Peter Hauke. Gemeinsam veröffentlichen sie die ersten Alben, zunächst lediglich instrumental, später mit Tonys ausdruckstarkem Gesang. Unter dem Namen "Planet P Project" werden 2 Alben ( "Planet P Project" und "Pink World") veröffentlicht, die den Vergleichen mit Pink Floyd´s "The Wall" absolut standhalten. Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Peter Hauke lernt TC Peter Maffay kennen, mit dem ihn bis zum heutigen Tag nicht nur die Musik, sondern auch eine tiefe Freundschaft verbindet. In den USA gelingt ihm 1982 mit "I Won´t Be Home Tonight" (Top 30) und "First Day Of Summer" der Durchbruch. Die Songs schießen sofort in die Hitparaden und werden als Videos von MTV gezeigt. Im Jahr 1984 folgt dann mit "A Fine Fine Day" ein weiterer Tophit. In Deutschland gelingt ihm 1989 mit dem Titelsong zum ARD-Dreiteiler "Wilder Westen inklusive", "Room With A View", der große Wurf. Bis heute hat das musikalische Multitalent nicht nur über 30 Alben veröffentlicht, sondern auch musikalische Größen wie Joe Cocker, John Mayall, Peter Maffay, Eric Burdon, Milva und viele andere produziert und sich als Komponist von Filmmusik etabliert.
