Gonzalez Convention Center - Room 217C Environmental Sustainability: Real World Strategies for Success What’s on golf’s environmental agenda? Nature: Conserving and enriching biodiversity as well as contributing to the functioning of ecosystems as healthy semi-natural landscapes for people and wildlife. Water: Acting as protected green space within watersheds, innovating highly efficient irrigation technology and practices, investing in infrastructure to reuse and recycle low-quality water, developing and renovating courses to require less irrigation. Energy: Minimizing energy consumption and harnessing renewable resources. Pollution control: Enhancing air, water and soil quality through responsible professional land and resource management. Supply Chain: Driving a greener economy through sustainable purchasing and moving toward zero- waste businesses. Community: Providing healthy recreation for all ages; youth programs; jobs and training; meeting place for families and businesses; and an event platform for charitable fundraising. Environmental Sustainability: Real World Strategies for Success Prepare golf for the future The golf industry is dedicated to continually improving the construction and management of environmentally- responsible and economically-viable golf courses. Golf provides significant value to the environment and is the only sport in the world with an eco-label from the Rain Forest Alliance and Forest Stewardship Council. Value The game’s leading organizations endorse the International Golf Federation’s “Statement on Sustainability” to employ environmental best practices. The goal is for course managers and developers to continuously improve water conservation, water quality protection, energy savings and pollution reduction. Highlights: •Provide ecological and economic benefits to local communities. -

CHRONOLOGICAL SUMMARY San Antonio’s Struggle Over Construction of the PGA Golf and Hotel Resort Over Sensitive Recharge Zone of the Edwards Aquifer May 2009 CHRONOLOGICAL SUMMARY San Antonio’s Struggle Over Construction of the PGA Golf and Hotel Resort Over Sensitive Recharge Zone of the Edwards Aquifer This chronological summary is drawn from contemporaneous1 articles that appeared in the San Antonio Express-News on the dates cited to the left of the chronicle. The page number and section of the paper in which the article appeared is noted in parenthesis. All quotations are drawn from the cited pieces, written by Express-News staff writers or, when noted, by Express-News columnists or the paper’s editorial board. PRE-PGA 1984 Oct. 17, 2001 (1H) Lumbermen’s invests $6.8 million in water for development put on indefinite hold after market collapse “In 1984, Lumbermen's paid $6.8 million in general benefit fees to the San Antonio Water System for pumping costs, storage capacity, main water lines and an extension of the sewer main. Shortly thereafter, the real estate market collapsed and the plan was put on hold. Nothing new had been proposed for the site until this year, when developers secured legislation allowing for a special taxing district to support infrastructure costs. The district is contingent on a development agreement with the city of San Antonio.” 1994 Jan. 26, 2002 (1B) Lumbermen’s and 26 other developments exploit loophole in water quality ordinance, “grandfathering” rights that exempt them from new restrictions on development over the aquifer. In 1994 City Council engaged in a “rancorous battle” over a proposal to safeguard San Antonio’s drinking water by establishing limits on development over the Edwards Aquifer. -

The Argentinian held the lead for most of the day, but Coletta birdied the par-4 17th to draw even at 14-under before Ledesma’s closing birdie. The 18th hole played as the toughest hole on the course last year and ranked as the fifth-hardest on Tour in 2019. Ledesma’s birdie was only the 19th birdie of the week on the par-4, 531-yard hole. After his win, Ledesma went on to secure his first PGA TOUR card. The 2019 tournament marked the first PGA TOUR-sanctioned event in the state of Colorado since the 2014 BMW Championship at Cherry Hills Country Club. Clubcorp Annual Report 2013 President’S Letter
ClubCorp AnnuAl report 2013 President’s Letter o Our Shareholders, 2013 was an extraordinary year for ClubCorp. We completed our initial public offering and delivered record fiscal-year T results. In September, we closed our initial public offering. We sold 13.2 million shares at $14.00 per share and affiliates of KSL Capital Partners sold an additional 4.8 million shares. For the full-year, revenues increased $60.1 million or 8.0% in 2013, with approximately 20% of the growth coming from new acquisitions and the balance from existing same store clubs. Adjusted EBITDA increased 6.7% over 2012. At ClubCorp, our central mission is to build relationships and enrich the lives of our members and their guests. We 9MAY201417381212 believe our clubs are more relevant than ever as families and individuals are looking for great places to recreate, socialize, network and just spend time together. As a result, membership sales resulted in a second consecutive year of membership growth, and average annualized membership retention is now in excess of 80 percent. We have sought to ‘‘reinvent’’ the modern club experience to promote greater usage of our facilities. From fiscal year 2007 through 2013, we have invested approximately $410 million of capital to better position and maintain our clubs in their respective markets. During this period, we ‘‘reinvented’’ 19 golf and country clubs and 16 business, sports and alumni clubs through capital investment. We also plan to ‘‘reinvent’’ 11 additional clubs in 2014. Expanding and strengthening our portfolio of clubs through acquisitions remains an important strategic focus. This past year, we acquired three properties – the renowned Oak Tree Country Club located in Edmond, Oklahoma, Cherry Valley Country Club located in Skillman, New Jersey, and Chantilly Golf and Country Club in Centreville, Virginia. -

Participation is designed to help course personnel plan, organize, implement, and document a comprehensive environmental management program and receive recognition for their efforts. To reach certification, a course must demonstrate that they are maintaining a high degree of environmental quality in a number of areas including: Environmental Planning, Wildlife & Habitat Management, Outreach and Education, Chemical Use Reduction and Safety, Water Conservation, and Water Quality Management. "TPC Prestancia has shown a strong commitment to its environmental program. They are to be commended for their efforts to provide a sanctuary for wildlife on the golf course property," said Joellen Lampman, Audubon International Program Manager. TPC Prestancia is one of 99 courses in Florida and 759 courses in the world to receive the honor. Golf courses from the United States, Africa, Australia, Canada, Central America, Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia have also achieved certification in the program.
