TRANSFORMING LIVES ANNUAL REPORT 2015 TRANSFORMING LIVES The world is rapidly being transformed by technology. Information is extremely powerful in terms of connecting people, providing more efficient services and influencing change. The wide range of information at our fingertips is also driving a new competitive marketplace and transforming not only the economy, but also the way people, companies and governments choose to operate. 2015 was a pivotal year for Prestariang as we secured major contracts such as the Master Licensing Agreement (MLA) 2.0 and the appointment as the sole Microsoft Licensing Solutions Partner that provides Microsoft software licenses and related services to all the Government Agencies in Malaysia. We are now ascending to the next level of our business expansion by diversifying into technology solutions & services. The ‘Sistem Kawalan & Imigresen Nasional’ (SKIN) project is set to be the next growth driver for Prestariang. SKIN is a comprehensive and integrated technology platform to modernise the core applications and infrastructure of the national immigration system with the objective of tightening the national border security. The system will be installed at airports and the country’s entry points. Leveraging on our experience and expertise we are set to make our hybrid innovative ideas become a reality. Our workforce planning is intrinsic to coping with industry demand to ensure the right experience, competencies and skill sets reside within our organisation. Powered by Powered by Kuala Lumpur Residential Market Update January 2019 The formation of a new government following Malaysia’s recent general election is already having a positive impact Economic indicators on the economy. Nominal quarterly GDP growth for Malaysia, Malaysia-wide unemployment, inflation and the overnight policy rate Consumer sentiment has been improving following the three month tax holiday, with the introduction of the GDP Quarter-on- Malaysia Overnight zero-rating of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), effective 1.7% Quarter Growth 3.25% Policy Rate from 1st June 2018, and the re-introduction of the Sales and Q2 2018 September 2018 Services Tax (SST) on 1st September 2018. This has been reinforced by strong employment and a low inflation rate; in Unemployment Rate Inflation Rate August 2018, unemployment levels stood at 3.4% and the 3.4% August 2018 0.2% August 2018 inflation rate was low at 0.2%. In the second quarter of 2018, the Business Conditions Index Nominal GDP growth Unemployment Rate Inflation Rate 6% (BCI), published by the Malaysian Institute of Economic Research, hit its highest level for the past 13 quarters at 5% 116.3 points. In addition, the continuing development of Kuala 4% Lumpur’s new financial district, Tun Razak Exchange, looks set 3% to further boost Malaysia’s growing financial services sector. 2% Keeping pace with rapid urbanisation is the development 1% progress of transport infrastructure in Greater Kuala Lumpur 0% (GKL). Service Disruption on Mrt Kajang Line Due to Signalling Problems
MEDIA STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SERVICE DISRUPTION ON MRT KAJANG LINE DUE TO SIGNALLING PROBLEMS KUALA LUMPUR, 16 August 2021- MRT Kajang Line is experiencing a service disruption due to signalling problems that were detected at 9.15am today that caused all trains that were in operations along the MRT Kajang Line to be held at platforms along its entire alignment starting from MRT Sungai Buloh Station to MRT Kajang Station. “The signalling problems are believed due to a technical issue and Rapid KL’s Engineering Department, together with BT Alstom who is the system’s manufacturer and Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp), are working to resolve this so that MRT Kajang Line could operate normally as soon as possible,” said a statement issued by the rail operator today. When the signalling problems were detected, all trains that were in operations switched to manual mode and were driven by Transit Officers to the nearest station, at a speed of not more than 25km/hour. Passengers were advised to disembark and take alternative transport in order to continue with their journey. Then, MRT Kajang Line suspended its operations from 11.15am to 3.45pm to allow for diagnostic work and full system reboot to be performed. It has since resumed operations at 3.45pm in revised service mode. “We deeply regret the inconvenience and would like to apologise to our passengers for this service disruption. For the safety of all involved, MRT Kajang Line is currently operating on revised service mode where trains would be moving slower and dwelling at platforms longer,” it added. -

In Malaysia, the problem issues are related to traffic congestion and many user cars on the roadway in daily lives. One alternative mode of using a rail network is commuter, LRT, Monorail, MRT and ETS. Therefore, the Geographic Information System (GIS) technology is then used to map and produce the railway networks history and developments in urban public transportation (UPT). The goal of this research is to identify the heatmap trends of the Klang Valley railway stations which included Kuala Lumpur as urban public transport sectors. It was based on the OSM image layer from the year 1990 to 2019 and studied the growth of railway networks through a polyline pattern analysis. -

NOTICE MASS RAPID TRANSIT SUNGAI BULOH – KAJANG LINE UPDATES ON CONSTRUCTION WORKS ALONG LEBUHRAYA DAMANSARA-PUCHONG (LDP) 1 June 2014 – 31 December 2014 Please be informed that below are the construction updates for works along the LDP Highway for the next six months from 1 June 2014 to 31 December 2014. This stretch along the LDP Highway (Kepong-bound) will be from Damansara Utama (Jalan SS21/23) until the 1 Utama shopping centre. The MRT-related works will include the construction of the special span crossing across the LDP Highway from Jalan Damansara and MRT 1U Station works. The construction activities are as follows: Construction of riverbank RC (reinforced concrete) wall, bore pile and caisson works, piers construction, concreting and launching of segmented box girders (SBGs) which will form the guideway for the MRT elevated line. Special span crossing across the LDP Highway from Jalan Damansara – Launching of SBGs (starting July 2014 onwards) Station works – bore piling, piers construction, launching of SBGs, launching of cross beam and T- beam, and station floor works. Working hours will be from 8am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday (including Public Holidays). Boring works will stop at 7pm and concreting works will continue until 10pm. At times, night works may go beyond 10pm due to unforeseen circumstances. Night works are subjected to Authorities’ approval and advance notice will be given to residents/ establishments via mail drops for night works involving lane closures or traffic diversions. Together with this notice is a MRT Community Info board for display on your Notice Board. As part of MRT Corp’s Standard Operating Procedure, safety barriers, traffic cones and traffic flagman will be placed at the work site to ensure road users are pre-warned of on-going works. -

Government Transformation Programme JABATAN PERDANA MENTERI Annual Report 2010 2010 marked the introduction and implementation of Malaysia’s Government Transformation Programme (GTP) and a new chapter in our young nation’s history. This bold and unprecedented programme aimed to radically transform the way the Government worked so we could better serve the rakyat, regardless of race, religion or social status. In embracing change, we learnt how to listen more effectively, speak more openly, see things for what they really are, develop a positive course of action and deliver tangible solutions. These efforts have laid strong foundations for the future progress of our nation and given the rakyat the assurance of a better future. This inaugural annual report of the GTP serves as a narrative of all that transpired in 2010. It records our many successes as well as shortcomings, outlines the key lessons learnt and the next steps we will take to achieve Vision 2020. As the GTP continues to impact upon and transform the lives of the rakyat for the better, the Government will continue to learn from its achievements and limitations, set higher goals and dream bigger dreams.
