GROUP REPORT 2017 7 A HISTORY OF QUALITY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT The activity of Subirats Bureau began in 1975 in the Ebro area as a result of the leadership and vi- sion of the Catalan entrepreneur Joan Subirats Berenguer, founder and current chairman of the group. Always foreseeing market trends and maintaining maximum added value in all of his projects, Su- birats has led a group that is now fully consolidated. The diversification strategy carried out over the last few decades has allowed the Bureau to expand in the areas of: real estate development, cons- truction and the hotel and restaurant industries. Currently, Subirats Bureau already has more than 800 professionals of up to 15 different nationalities, respecting gender parity that manifests itself in all its business units. The natural evolution of the group took place in 1994, from the Ebro Area to Tarragona, where the consolidation of the real estate division was achieved with two emblematic developments: Plaça Gene- ralitat and Torres Roma. Throughout its history, Subirats Bureau has built more than 3,700 homes with a total built area of 565,000 m2. The current land reserve accumulated by the real estate division is more than 100,000 m2 of building space. To this day, Subirats Bureau carries out projects in Tortosa, L'Ampolla, Tarragona, Reus, Figueres, Badalona, Castellví de Rosanes and Viladecans. SB Hotels was born in 1988, with the construction and commercialisation of Aparthotel La Rápita in Sant Carles de la Ràpita, with Hotel SB Corona Tortosa in 1994, Hotel SB Ciutat Tarragona in 1998 and SB Express Tarragona, in 2003. Constant success boosted the expansion of the hotel chain with the opening of new hotels in Barcelona: SB Icaria, in 2004; SB Diagonal Zero, in 2009; SB BCN Events, in 2011; SB Plaza Europa, in 2013 and SB Glow, planned for July 2017. Innovation and gastronomic leisure complete the professional sphere of Subirats Bureau, from 2014, with emblematic spaces such as El National or Lomo Alto. Since 1975, the company has developed close to 40 building projects, with more than 565,000 m2 of built area, urbanization of different Special Interior Renovation Plans, Units of Action and Partial Plans. In addition to carrying out the construction of 9 hotels, SB Immobiliària has built 91 multi-family and single-family buildings, with more than 3,700 homes, more than 3,100 parking spaces and more than 60,600 m2 of commercial premises and industrial warehouses. The group's real estate division is currently working on the land development for Temple Sud Partial Plan in Tortosa as well as the construction of the new SB Hotels hotel in Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes in Barcelona. The company today has a total of 75 homes for sale in Tortosa and L 'Ampolla and a tertiary building for rent. In the coming years, SB Immobiliària will be present along the whole eastern strip of Catalonia and will focus on the development and promotion of its buildings

ISSN 1135-6014 ELS SISTEMES TRADICIONALS DE REG A LA REGIÓ DE TORTOSA I LES PROPOSTES D'AMPLIACIÓ: DE LES SÈQUIES I SÍNIES AL PANTÀ D'ULLDECONA RESUM En aquest treball es repassen els sistemes tradicionals de reg a la regió de Tortosa i s’expliquen quins van ser els diferents camins per realitzar petites ampliacions de la superfície regada fins que a partir de la dècada de 1850 es va aconseguir la construc- ció de la xarxa de canals derivats de l’Ebre. Aquests sistemes van consistir bàsicament en l’aprofitament de fonts i petits cursos d’aigua superficial, en la construcció de sínies i només en un cas en l’aprofitament de l’aigua de l’Ebre a través de la roda hidràulica de Tivenys. També s’analitzen alguns projectes fracassats com ara l’apro- fitament de l’aigua dolça dels aiguamolls deltaics o la construcció d’un pantà a par- tir de l’aigua del riu Sénia per a regar les localitats d’Ulldecona i Alcanar.     DOCUMENTACIÓ REFERENT AL PRIORAT DE L’ARXIU HISTÒRIC DE LA DIPUTACIÓ La Diputació de Tarragona va crear el seu Arxiu Històric el 1997, per tal de posar a disposició de consulta pública tot el seu patrimoni documental de caràcter històric, o sigui, amb més de 30 anys d’antiguitat. Va ser ubicat al mateix edifici que el Museu d’Art Modern, amb qui comparteix les instalAlacions1. El fons de l’AHDT es composa d’una quinzena de seccions, cada una de les quals sol dividir-se en dues o més sèries: Cpq., capses en quart, i Cpf., capses en foli. Aquestes seccions han anat generant documentació des de la seva creació, en diferentes dates, a partir de la segona meitat del s. XIX (Actes, 1836, Obres Públiques, 1857, Cultura, 1859, Intervenció, 1860, Beneficència 1869, Agricultura, 1880, Urbanisme, 1883, etc.). L’AHDT és, doncs, d’un arxiu històric d’època contemporània (segles XIX i XX). Cultura, Governació, el Butlletí Oficial, Cens i les Actes, són seccions que consultades amb calma i exhaustivitat, són capaces de proporcionar informació sobre qualsevol comarca tarragonina, no cal dir que també del Priorat. Però, a més, també hi ha altres seccions i fons amb informació concreta que podem detectar i donar-ne directa referència. En aquest article pretenem exposar uns breus comentaris que ajudin a copsar les possibilitats d’investigació d’aquest centre, de cara als investigadors i estudiosos prioratins. Informació específica La documentació més antiga, fa referència als aranzels parroquials. Sembla que vers 1856 els municipis hagueren de contribuïr al sosteniment dels serveis religiosos locals, cosa que comportà l’elaboració d’estadillos per saber quins efectius tenia l’Església en una determinada població, amb què comptava la parròquia, quins serveis oferia i amb quines valoracions econòmiques s’havien de taxar (Governació, Cpq., 2-3).

Resum S’examinen les evidències d’explotació minera en època romana al Baix Priorat i la possibilitat d’identificació del plom d’aquesta conca amb el citat per Plini el Vell sota la denominació d’oleastrense. El repàs a l’evolució diacrònica de les explotacions des del segle VII anE fins a època baixmedieval dona fe de la importància històrica d’aquesta explotació i contribueix a apuntalar aquesta possible identificació amb el plumbum nigrum oleastrense. Abstract This paper examines the mining exploitation during the Roman period at the Baix Priorat (Tarragona, Spain) and explores the hypothetical identification of the lead from this area with those mentioned by Pliny under the name of oleas- trense.
