Staff used the PowerPoint slides included in the agenda to explain the Second Draft phase of the revision process. 5. Definitions Task Group. Cathy Stashak volunteered to represent the committee on the Correlating Committee task group that will draft the assignment of defined terms to the various technical committees. In future revision cycles each committee will have responsibility for handling changes to the defined terms assigned to it. 6. Hazardous Materials Task Group. Ann Marie Wolf volunteered to represent the committee on the Correlating Committee task group that will address hazardous materials within NFPA 101 and NFPA 5000 before working with other NFPA committees. 7. School Lockdowns. Robert Solomon advised the committee of a broad NFPA project that is envisioned to address school lockdowns and then scale-up its scope to include similar issues for theaters and office buildings. The work product might take the form of safety tips for multiple hazards. The following committee members volunteered to assist in the effort: Max Grandy from a User perspective Cathy Stashak from an Enforcer perspective Richard Roberts from a Manufacturer perspective 8. LED in Multi-Level Day Care Buildings. Cathy Stashak presented on the subject of permitting additional levels of multi-level day-care occupancies to be considered part of the level of exit discharge.
