Educate 100 Girl Children In Hyderabad Slums (#5290) REPORT ON CELEBRATION OF INDIAN REPUBLIC DAY IN AN IDENTIFIED SLUM AREA SUMMARY : The project will enable 100 Girl Children to receive the National Festival who celebrates the Indian Republic Day. The girls took active role in exercising their rights. They themselves hoisted , saluted Flag and actively involved in various activities. ABOUT THE CHILDREN : The children are between the age group 6 to 14 years, most of them are tribal lambada’s, stone cutters, migratory, daily labour/wages parental background. They are needy, destitute, downtrodden and poverty stricken in all areas viz shelter, food, clothing. The cultural background is still the dogma of early marriage are practiced. RDOET IN ACTION : (RDOET) HAO India distributed National Flags, buns, eatables and also recreation material. The fascinating and amazing highlight of the Indian Republic Celebrations was with guest from Globalgiving of U.S.A. (United States of America). REPUBLIC DAY : Republic Day is celebrated with much excitement all over the country and particular in the capital of India, New Delhi. 26th January is one of the most important days in Indian History as it was on this day the constitution of India came into force and India became a truly sovereign state. The different regiments of the Indian Army, Navy and Airforce march past in their dresses. Each display brings out the diversity and richness of the culture of India. Dr. (Mrs). P.
