Desperate Husbands BBQ FAJITA Cheesesteak Philly
1 LB DiLusso RARE roast beef or thin sliced Ribeye Steak is my favorite 4 Slices DiLusso Provolone or pepper jack cheese 1 9oz bottle Desperate Husbands Fajita Marinade 1 Orange bell pepper stem removed de-seeded and cut into ¼ inch slices 1 Medium onion cut in half and cut into ¼ inch slices 1 Package sliced button mushrooms 1 TBS butter 1 Package hoagie buns
Pre-Heat Teflon pan to medium high 1. In a large zip lock bag shred the roast beef into smaller size (about ¼ of the original size) pieces and place in the zip lock bag. Add all of the fajita marinade and remove all the air and zip lock the bag shut and place in a bowl. Let the meat marinade overnight and turn as often as you can.
2. Slice the hoagie bun in half but don’t cut all the thru the bun. Spread a light coat of butter on both sides and place on the pan and cook until the bun is golden brown and remove from the pan. Add 2 slices of your preferred cheese.
3. Heat a Teflon saucepan on medium high heat and spray with Pam Cooking Spray. Add in the onions, bell pepper, roast beef, mushrooms and all the fajita marinade and sauté breaking up the meat until all the juice is gone. I use 2 wooden spoons to shred the meat while it cooks. Add ½ of the roast beef on top of the cheese and enjoy your sandwich
Option:
Heat a flour tortilla and add the roast beef, mushrooms, onions and peppers and create a fajita roll up. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy.
Bon Appetite!!
