2 Tom and Betty are teaching the Foxtrot on Thursday, September 3rd from 2:30 -

3:30 PM in the Mimosa Room. There’s only one lesson this month since we’re go- ing on vacation. The Foxtrot is the most popular of ballroom dances and is almost the same as the Texas Two-step. Any “moves” you do to the Foxtrot can also be done to the Two-step. If you want to get motivated about dancing, then listen to this. A doctor told some friends of ours that dancing is one of the best things to do to prevent diminishing mental capabili- st ties. Two reasons...it’s good exercise, plus 1 Thursday it makes you think about what you’re doing and how to do it! As always, the classes are free. You need a partner to dance with, but you don’t need a partner to watch the Atrium Art Walk lessons and enjoy the mu- sic. Hope you can make it! MUSIC - COCKTAILS - ART

Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, concluding with the exhilarating “Ode to Joy,” encourages us to celebrate our shared humanity; Schoenberg’s short but powerful Survivor from Warsaw reminds us that tyranny degrades humans, both victims and perpetrators.
