STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series Applicants Welcome to the 24th season of the STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series! This past year was a success again as the premier event in professional lumberjack sports and we have no intention of slowing down. 2009 will be another great year. Again, we will be broadcasting our series on ESPN and the coverage will consist of nine (9) shows aired twice each, for a total of 18 airings. As always, we want to ensure we produce a competition that is exciting to the fans and fair to you, the competitors. Thanks to the efforts of Granite State Lumberjack Shows, Lumberjack Sports International, JM Associates and members of the Competitor Advisory Group, we believe last year’s competition format delivered on that goal and we will follow it again, with a few improvements. As always, to the greatest extent possible, we have scheduled this year’s events to avoid conflicts with other regional competitions. Registration fees will be refunded immediately if entry is not accepted, or at the end of August, by mail, if the competitor competes at all venues qualified for.
