Early Bird Prayer is on Tuesday 4th June, drop-in anytime between 6.30 - 8am, grab a light breakfast, pray and go! Club Tuesday will meet on 4th June at 11.30am. Looking ahead Boldmere Festival: Working with others... Next Sunday 9th June is Pentecost and the Boldmere Festival. Churches Together in Banners Gate, Boldmere and Wylde Green have a stall from 1pm onwards. Chester Road Baptist is responsible for the 5-6 pm shift. Can you volunteer with Danny, 5-6 pm? The united service is then 6.30-7.30 pm at Boldmere Methodist Church, with refreshments afterwards. Hosts Team: We are growing our Hosts Team. Could you volunteer once a month to welcome first-time visitors and regulars to Chester Road Baptist Church? iServe. Where do we grow from here? Rev Ken Benjamin, President of the Baptist Union and Senior Minister of Chichester Baptist Church, is delivering a workshop here at Chester Road on Saturday 15th June from 10am-2pm. There is no evening service at Chester Road. The next Coffee Morning on 22nd June will be at the home of Norman and Joy Hough. For those who are able there will be a short walk in Kingsbury Water Park (starting 11am) and then back for a light lunch. If you are unable to walk, relax over a cup of tea/coffee until the walkers return. Please put your name on the list so it is known how many to cater for. Next Sunday: 9th June – 10.30 am: Pentecost all-age service with brigades and a dedication. Please assemble in the car park by the traffic lights. Toilets are located off the foyer. The disabled toilet includes baby-changing facilities. Hearing Loop is available. Switch to ‘T’. It’s best to sit in the middle sections. Worship Feel free to stand, sit, take part or observe as you feel comfortable. Refreshments are free and Fairtrade. Please stay for a cuppa!
