Current studies of heavy metal soil pollution in Hunan province mainly focus on medium and small scales, thus heavy metal pollution is rarely considered at the province scale in Hunan. In order to investigate the heavy metal pollution status in agricultural soils in Hunan province, literature related to heavy metal soil pollution in Hunan province was reviewed and organized from the following databases: Web of Science, China national knowledge infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Data, and China Science and Technology Journal Database (CQVIP). The literature data for the contents of Pb (122 soil sampling sites), Zn (103 sites), Cu (102 sites), Cd (105 sites), As (100 sites), Hg (85 sites), Cr (95 sites), and Ni (62 sites) in Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 Unported Licence. agricultural soils were obtained at the province scale. The spatial auto-correlation method was applied to reveal the spatial distribution of heavy metal accumulation. The average contents of the 8 heavy metals in agricultural soils of Hunan were all significantly (P < 0.05) higher than their background values and they were not distributed evenly across the Hunan province; the content of each heavy metal in eastern Hunan (including the cities of Yueyang, Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Chenzhou) was higher than that of other regions. -

List 3. Headings That Need to Be Changed from the Machine- Converted Form
LIST 3. HEADINGS THAT NEED TO BE CHANGED FROM THE MACHINE- CONVERTED FORM The data dictionary for the machine conversion of subject headings was prepared in summer 2000 based on the systematic romanization of Wade-Giles terms in existing subject headings identified as eligible for conversion before detailed examination of the headings could take place. When investigation of each heading was subsequently undertaken, it was discovered that some headings needed to be revised to forms that differed from the forms that had been given in the data dictionary. This occurred most frequently when older headings no longer conformed to current policy, or in the case of geographic headings, when conflicts were discovered using current geographic reference sources, for example, the listing of more than one river or mountain by the same name in China. Approximately 14% of the subject headings in the pinyin conversion project were revised differently than their machine- converted forms. To aid in bibliographic file maintenance, the following list of those headings is provided. In subject authority records for the revised headings, Used For references (4XX) coded Anne@ in the $w control subfield for earlier form of heading have been supplied for the data dictionary forms as well as the original forms of the headings. Changsha is a highly industrialized city in Hunan Province, China, where the water quality is of great importance to the development of economy and environment in this area. We have analyzed the characteristics of ammonia nitrogen in the Xiang River in Changsha from 2016 to 2019. The results showed that in the main stem, concentrations of ammonia nitrogen were very low and reached the third water quality level. In the six tributaries, concentrations of ammonia nitrogen have increased, especially in Longwanggang and Liuyang River, where the latter of which has a large number of industries and domestic sewage. Correlations between monthly precipitation and ammonia nitrogen concentrations were negative, besides two sites Jinjiang and Juzizhou, indicating that in most rivers, ammonia nitrogen contents had been diluted by rainfall. In general, concentrations and fluxes of ammonia nitrogen have decreased significantly during this time period, suggesting that water environment has improved greatly under the series of the clean motions by the local government. 1 Introduction nitrogen in streamflow and to identify the potential pollution in the Xiang River basin in Changsha. Project title shall refer to the name applied by the project at the time when it is established and approved, which shall in no case exceed 30 characters (and every two English semantic shall be deemed as one Chinese character) 2. Place of Construction shall refer to the detailed address of project location, and where a highway or railway is involved, names of start station and end station shall be provided. 3. Industry category shall be stated according to the Chinese national standards. 4. Total Investment Volume shall refer to the investment volume in total of the project. 5. The water ecological security of a river basin affects the vigorous growth of the regional economy and the healthy development of the ecological environment. Based on river physics, chemistry, and biological indicators, this study constructed a comprehensive assessment index system for the water ecological security of the Xiangjiang River Basin in China. The system consisted of 6 elements, and 18 indicators. This study used the analytic hierarchical process (AHP) to evaluate the water ecological security of the upstream, midstream, and downstream environments of the Xiangjiang River Basin. The results show that the overall ecological security of the upper and midstream portions of the Xiangjiang River Basin is relatively good, while the downstream section is at a general level. -

The analysis not only included the whole city but also the urban district where the landscape changed more rapidly in the center of the city. Two LANDSAT TM data sets in 1986 and 2000 and land use data of five urban districts from 1995 to 2005 were used to estimate the changes in the size of six land use categories. Meanwhile, previously published value coefficients were used to detect the changes in the value of ecosystem services delivered by each land category. The result shows that the total value of ecosystem services in Changsha declines from $1 009.28 million per year in 1986 to $938.11 million per year in 2000. -
