They have been very welcoming and supportive. It will be interesting to now be “on the other side.” Yet I hope that having been a student here will help me better understand the seminarians. I still have many questions as I’m trying to find my bearings and estab- lish a rhythm since transitions are always difficult and at times painful. I have never taught at a graduate level before. I have yet to learn how to prepare classes, how to test students, how to do formation for seminarians and what it means to be the Dean of Students. It’s very humbling to now be a “formator” since I realize that there are still many, many areas in my life where I need to be formed. As one of Dialogue 9 Faculty Profile Fr. Michael J. Flynn
