Trekking: in the foothills of some of the world’s highest peaks, including Annapurna 1 at 8,091m. Unrivalled landscapes, flora and fauna: Sub-tropical lowlands, valleys, forests, alpine meadows, rivers, windswept desert plateaux, rainforests & rice paddies. Experience diverse cultures, religions and castes as you venture high into the mountains to visit ancient villages & settlements. Environmental Awareness in Chitwan Jungle & Asian Elephant Breeding Centre, reached by Canoe. Elephant Riding Safari in search of Rhino, Leopard and the elusive Bengal Tiger. Talks and demonstrations about local flora and fauna. Schools’ Community Project: A 2-way cultural interaction. Expeditioners will prepare lesson plans and deliver lessons. You‟ll interact with the children and improve their English; maintain & decorate classrooms and carry out some minor construction projects (as needed and required by the local communities).
