This Annual EEO Public File Report lists all full-time vacancies filled during the reporting period for the employment unit comprised of the following stations:

V/GBH-TV () WCAI(FM) (Woods Hole) V/GBX-TV (Boston) WNAN(FM) () WGBH(FM) (Boston) WZAI(FM) (Brewster) WCRB(FM) (Lowell)

All open full-time positions were listed on the stations' websites, the 'WGBH intranet, and the job book located in the V/GBH studio building lobby, and were posted on bulletin boards internally.

Notices for all open full-time positions were sent to each of the organizations listed in Appendix C.

In addition, notices of all full-time job openings are sent to www.indeed.com (a web-based job aggregator) and were sent to the local organizations and agencies, including all those that requested to receive notices,

The employment unit uses the resources of Professional Diversity Network to further disseminate information about job openings. The mission of Professional Diversity Network is to provide diverse cornmunities with a trusted professional network that pairs candidates with employers who are serious about building a diverse workforce. Every employrnent unit job posting is listed with Profbssional Diversity Network and is then f'unneled through over 50 afTìnity professional organizations inclucling (but not limits,cl to) NUL, ALPFA, NAACP, V/lB, VetJobs, and NHSN.

Internship Programs

WGBH's hosts interns for the fall, spring, and summer semesters. WGBH internships are short-term work experiences that allow students to observe and participate in a professional work environment and explore how their interests relate to possible careers in media. The WGBH internship program provides important leaming opportunities that can help students make informed decisions about their career path. WGBH interns have the opportunity to:

Get an inside view of a major media organization and learn about the culture at WGBH Gain valuable and practical skills and knowledge Make professional connections in media to enhance their network Get experience in media that enables students to make career transitions

As indicated in Appendix A (Recruitment Report), a number of open full-time positions were filled by individuals who had been or were interns. The total number of V/GBH interns for the reporting period of November 15,2015 to November ll,2016 was 174 (including 1 Aspire intern and 1 Emma Bowen intern).

3. Training Programs for Station Personnel

WGBH subscribes to Lynda.com, which is a leading online learning module that helps employees leam business, software, technology and creative skills to achieve personal and professional goals. The subscription provides employees with access to the lynda.com video library of coursestaughtbyrecognizedindustryexperts. A. Professional Networking & Community Events

Posse Career Day December 30,2015 Attended by: Human Resources - Alyssa Mullen and Marybeth Boucher The Posse Foundation works with high-potential, high-performing, public high school students (Posse Scholars) from across the country to provide them with academic and career opportunities that may not be easily available to them otherwise. They also coordinate a Career Program that provides Posse Scholars with the tools and opportunities needed to secure intemships and jobs. WGBH attended the annual Posse Career Day and Networking Event to provide Posse scholars with the opportunity to leam more about WGBH internship opportunities.

Boston Private Industry Council's Annual Job Shadow Day at WGBH March ll,2016 Each year the Boston Private Industry Council partners with local organizations to have a Job Shadow Day. The event allows students to "shadow" an employee for several hours, observing and assisting them. The experience provides students with a preview of the large range of available career opportunities. Each year V/GBH hosts a number of students to participate in a tour and shadow some of our employees on the job.

Appendix B - Supplemental Outreach Activities This year, we hosted twenty-two students from Boston Public High Schools. Each student was placed in a different area of the organization to network with WGBH employees and to observe their daily duties.

Simmons Leadership Conference March 29,2016 The Simmons Leadership Conference is a women's professional development event. WGBH had a booth at the event staffed by representatives from WGBH's HR and Local Development Departments). Additional WGBH employees from departments across the orgartization attended the conference. several WGBH employees attended the conference as well from departments across the organization.

National Assoc. for Black Journalisfflational Assoc. for Hispanic Journalist Joint Convention and Career Fair. August 2016 WGBH joumalists Callie Crossley and Phillip Martin participated as panelists on breakout programming sessions. WGBH Radio General Manager Phil Redo and Marybeth Boucher (HR) participated in the job fair as part of the Public Media Village organized by the convention.

WGBH partners with many local high schools, universities, and colleges on networking events, mentoring, internships, and seminars. WGBH also has cultivated relationships with the followingorganizations that specialize in cultivating and developing diverse talent:

Emma Bowen Foundation The Emma L. Bowen Foundation is dedicated to creating career opportunities in the media industry for youth of color through progrcms that focus on scholastic achievement direct work experience and professional development. WGBH hosted and mentored one intem through the Emma Bowen Foundation from May 2016 through August 2016.

Aspire Internship Many adults with high cognitive autism spectrum disorder or a related profile find it difficult to embark on a job search or start a career. WGBH hosted and mentored one Aspire intem from June 2016 through August 2016.
