Camp Rock - Brennan Welsh Great Reads during Coronacation Little Women Louisa May Alcott The classic novel follows the lives of four sisters---Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March. The novel, which was pub- lished in 1880, was ahead of its time because it was a children's novel that addressed themes like domesticity, work, and true love which were not found in other children's novels during the late 1800s. This over 700 page novel is sure to last all of quarantine. Rediscover Jesus Matthew Kelly Rediscover Jesus is an invitation to seek answers for our deeply personal questions. Minnow Minnow serves as the ultimate streaming service, allowing you access to all of the best streaming services in one place. With such a diverse platform and 19,700 movies and TV shows to choose from and 4.7 stars on the app store, it's clear why this app has won first place. 2. Disney + As a generation raised on Disney, a streaming service based solely on their movies is practically sur- real! With over 100 titles and 0 ads, even adding their movies that were supposed to premiere in theaters upon the pandemic's arrival, Disney plus has a solid grip on second place. 3. Netflix This app is an endless goldmine for any movie lovers looking for something to watch. Why is Netflix in third place though? Although they may have more titles than we can count and a revolving door of new content, the door doesn't turn fast enough. Their supply of movies becomes stagnant and they rely on their Netflix Originals to keep people entertained instead of pulling in new interesting content at a decent rate. 4. Hulu Hulu is a very diverse streaming platform that allows you to watch live sports, 85,000 series epi- sodes, Hulu Originals, and over 60 channels all in the palm of your hands, completely ad free! 5. Boomerang Boomerang is the hub of all of those childhood cartoons that shaped our generation such as Yogi Bear, Popeye, Tom and Jerry, Johnny Quest, Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and more! 6. HBO NOW This streaming service allows you to stream HBO's live tv and movies! With Consistent new content and interesting titles ranging from The Outsider to The New Pope, there's no doubt why they have made our list! 7. Nick That's right, you heard it here first! Nickelodeon officially has their own streaming service! Including titles such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Power Rangers, and Dude perfect, their content is the recipe for nostalgia. 8. The CW The CW app allows you to stream all of the top, action packed tv shows before they hit Netflix such as Flash, Super Girl, Dynasty, and Riverdale. 9. Cartoon Network App This app allows you to see all of Cartoon Network's latest shows the day after they air, with titles ranging from Adventure time to Power Puff girls, Cartoon Network has a solid grip on 9th place. 10. FOX NOW Fox Now is an online streaming app with a variety of content ranging from The Masked Singer to Empire, but it's lack of consistency in content leaves this service in 10th place. - Jaide Navarre 4 Surviving Social Distancing In today's busy world, students rely very heavily on their time in school in order to socialize, but with the CoVid-19 pandemic sweeping the country and closing schools all around the world, you people are having to search for new ways to keep in touch with their friends. Although the core social medias, In- stagram, Snapchat, and Twitter, are very reliable ways to stay in contact, it's always fun to try some- thing new and to experiment with more interesting forms or communication so we've compiled a list of some of the coolest social media platforms we've found on the Appstore. 1. House Party House Party is an application can be found in any app store, including apple and android, and was created to allow you to facetime with as many of your friends at one time as you would like and lets you jump from group to group and alerts you when your friends enter the app, or as they say, "in the house." 2. Netflixparty.com Netflixparty.com is a website that allows you to sync your Netflix stream with your friends and opens a groupchat screen that will allow you to talk and binge at the same time! The only downside to using this website is that this software is only available over Chrome Browsers on desktop or laptop computers. 3. Trivia Crack Trivia Crack, a Trivia app that allows you to play your friends or random online opponents, is an older app, but a diamond in the rough none the less. This app is perfect for the com- petitive friend groups who normally spend their time together and will allow you to prove who's the most intelligent once and for all! 4. Mixer Mixer is an interactive streaming service found in the app store that allows gamers to ei- ther stream their own gaming experience or watch another's. This Microsoft creation has 4.7 stars and claims to have "Faster Than Light" streaming technology. 5. Airtime Airtime, much like Netflix Party, allows users to stream Youtube videos at the same time, but instead of a group chat screen, you can facetime with your friends! This app has 4.4 stars on the app store and is rated #13 for entertainment.

  • TV Makes Pay-TV History by Becoming the First Service Provider in Finland to Offer Customisable Service Packages
PlusTV Makes Pay-TV History By Becoming The First Service Provider In Finland To Offer Customisable Service Packages At the same time, the company signs new channel agreements with KinoTV and Disney Channel 29 August 2008 - PlusTV is the only service provider in Finland to launch a service package with contents freely customisable by the customer. Customisable pay-TV packages have been one of the most requested services in PlusTV’s customer satisfaction surveys. The number of pay-TV channels offered by PlusTV will also increase to 13 with the signing of new channel agreements with KinoTV and Disney Channel. PlusTV has listened to its customers and launched a new service package that allows customers to customise their channel package to best suit their life situation. According to a recent survey conducted by PlusTV, potential pay-TV customer target groups saw the inability to freely choose and customise their service packages as the greatest obstacle to making the purchase (Purchase Process Survey, January 2008). PlusTV takes the wishes of its customers seriously. Therefore, we are now offering them the chance to build their very own pay-TV package and choose the package size that best suits their life situation. “We are constantly evaluating the wishes of our customers through surveys and customer panels, and we are seeking to develop our products to meet these needs,” comments Vesa Mars, CEO, PlusTV. “Only by listening to our customers have we been able to nearly triple pay-TV penetration and reach over 280,000 subscribers.” PlusTV’s new packages come in three different sizes with three different prices.

Diane Jagels Title: The Animated Phenomenon: Impact Beyond Childhood Abstract This paper responds to the stigma that animated shows are “just for kids,” and that animated cartoons and films have as much importance as shows which star live actors. I analyze several American cartoons from the 2000s and 2010s, such as Phineas and Ferb, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, and Over the Garden Wall, which contain themes that are accessible by multiple age groups, including adults. Some of the themes include: the intelligence of cartoons; representation and the fight against stereotyping; family structures and dynamics; and foreboding themes of insecurities, growing up, and death. Many cartoons have become impactful for older audiences and I draw on firsthand responses from fans, interviews with the shows’ creators, and the episodes themselves to convey the significance of cartoons. .

Six years younger than my only older sibling, however nineteen years older than my youngest brother has made me experience childlike activities multiple times. One of the things that I enjoy much is that stay up to date about (new) media and how they play a part in the daily lives of my younger brothers. Watching an ‘old’ childhood movie together that is nostalgic for me yet a complete new experience for them, while getting disappointed that they don’t seem to enjoy it as much as I did.
