No. 224 BY REPKESENI’ArIVES VIl.I.MUERTE, DEFENSOR (M.), LAGMAN,GUNIGUNDO, CHlONGR[AN, MARdON, DOMOGhVL“I‘, CAS‘UZ.0, ARNAIZ,COQUILLA, CHIPECO, JALA AND AGYAO AN ACT CREATING AN ADDITIONAL REGIONAL TRIAL COURT BRANCH IN THE CAPITAL TOWN OF PILI, PROVINCE OF CAMARlNES SUR, AMFXlDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION 14, PARAGRAPH (F) OF BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 129, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7154, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS “THE JUDICIARY REORGANIZATION ACT OF 1980”, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR Be it enacted by the Senafe and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: SECTION I. Sectioii 14, paragraph (0 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as “The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980”, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows: “SEC. 14. Regional Trial Courts. -- -x x x “(0 (Sixty-five] Srxru-six Regional Trial Judges shall be commissioned for the Fiith Judicial Region, There shall be: ‘(x x x L 1 “[Twenty-seven] TWENTY-EIGHTbranches with seats thereat for the Province of Camarines Sur and the Cities of Naga and Iriga, with seats at Naga City, Libmanan, Tigaon, San Jose, Pili, Iriga City, Bnhi, Nabua, Sipocot, Ragay, and Calabanga; 5 “x x x.” 6 SiX 2. The jurisdiction over cases cognizable by the Regional Trial 7 Court under existing law, emanating from the municipalities of Pili, Bula and 8 Ocampo in the Province of Camarines Sur, shall be lodged in the Regional 9 Trial Court branch created under this Act. 10 SEC. 3. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordinatlon with 11 the Secretary of the Department of Justice, shall immediately include in the 12 Court’s program the operationalization of an additional Regional Trial Court 13 branch for the Province of Camarines Sur to be stationed at the capital town of 14 Pili, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General 15 Appropriations Act. 16 SEC. 4. PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr., identified the suspects as Roque Ebete y Manalo, 28 years old, jobless and a resident of Purok 5, Bonot, Legazpi City, Albay; Rodelio Ragay y Divinaflores, 38,tricycle driver; Chauser Kelvin Parra y Coralde, alias Boboy, 22; both residents of Zone 3, Brgy. Mabolo, Naga City; and Gary Ornelia y Magallanes, alias Puroy, 38, tinsmith, of Brgy. Balatas, Naga City. On February 5, 2015, at around 4:45 pm, elements of PDEA Regional Office 5-Albay Provincial Office under Director Archie A. Grande conducted a buy-bust operation in Purok 5, Bonot, Legazpi City that led to the arrest of Ebete. Confiscated from him was one piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected shabu weighing approximately 50 grams and the buy-bust money. Ebete is temporarily detained at the PDEA RO5 detention cell.

31 October 2020 At 5:00 AM, TY "ROLLY" maintains its strength as it moves closer towards Bicol Region. The eye of Typhoon "ROLLY" was located based on all available data at 655 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes. TCWS No. 2 was raised over Catanduanes, the eastern portion of Camarines Sur, Albay, and Sorsogon. While TCWS No.1 was raised over Camarines Norte, the rest of Camarines Sur, Masbate including Ticao and Burias Islands, Quezon including Polillo Islands, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Marinduque, Romblon, Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Island, Oriental Mindoro, Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Aurora, Pangasinan, Benguet, Ifugao, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, and the southern portion of Isabela, Northern Samar, the northern portion of Samar, the northern portion of Eastern Samar, and the northern portion of Biliran. At 7:00 PM, the eye of TY "ROLLY" was located based on all available data at 280 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes. "ROLLY" maintains its strength as it threatens Bicol Region. The center of the eye of the typhoon is likely to make landfall over Catanduanes early morning of 01 November 2020, then it will pass over mainland Camarines Provinces tomorrow morning, and over mainland Quezon tomorrow afternoon. At 10:00 PM, the eye of TY "ROLLY" was located based on all available data including those from Virac and Daet Doppler Weather Radars at 185 km East of Virac, Catanduanes. Bicol Region is now under serious threat as TY "ROLLY" continues to move closer towards Catanduanes. Violent winds and intense to torrential rainfall associated with the inner rainband-eyewall region will be experienced over (1) Catanduanes tonight through morning; (2) Camarines Provinces and the northern portion of Albay including Rapu-Rapu Islands tomorrow early morning through afternoon.

GALLOWAY! 1Australian Geological Survey Organisation Canberra, ACT, Australia 20ffice of Energy Affairs, Makati Metro Manila, Philippines Abstract: During March-May 1992, the Australian Geological Survey Organisation and the Philippine Office of Energy Affairs conducted a cooperative marine seismic, gravity, magnetic, bathymetry and geochemical "sniffer" survey in four offshore Philippine basins: NE Palawan, Cuyo Platform, Tayabas Bay and Ragay Gulf. The project was funded by the Australian International Development Assistance Bureau. The survey work was conducted using the Australian Government's geoscientific vessel, Rig Seismic. The cruise achieved all its objectives and was a major success. Of the four survey areas, the Ragay Gulf is of particular interest, with complex structures, multi-phase tectonism and massive sediment infill. It was in this region that many geochemical "sniffer" seeps were located. The geochemical "sniffer" data and its C-13 and C-14 isotope analyses have indicated the presence of significant source rocks. These seeps are thermogenic in origin and have reached sufficient maturity to generate significant quantities of hydrocarbons. In the near future, the geochemical data will be integrated with the seismic data to provide clues for hydrocarbon migration. The preliminary seismic interpretation have revealed the existence of five sedimentary sub-basins with 2.5 - 5 seconds of Eocene to Recent sediments.

Background Information PPA was created through Presidential Decree (PD) No. 505, otherwise known as the “Philippine Port Authority Decree of 1974”, issued on July 11, 1974. Under the said PD, PPA is given general jurisdiction and control over all persons, groups and entities that are already existing or are still being proposed to be established within the different port districts throughout the country. PPA, in coordination with other government agencies, is also mandated to prepare and update annually a “Ten-Year Philippine Port Development Program” which shall embody the integrated plan for the development of the country’s ports and harbors.
