  • Lago Di Como
    LAGO DI COMO Un mondo unico al mondo All’ombra delle cime innevate delle Alpi Retiche e circondato da entrambi i lati da ripide e verdeggianti montagne, il lago di Como è il più spettacolare e più visitato dei tre maggiori laghi del nord Italia. A forma di una Y rovesciata, di circa 160 km su un ondulato litorale, è disseminato di piccoli paesini caratteristici, magnifiche ville e giardini fioriti. La combinazione di montagne boscose e acqua blu è semplicemente ammaliante. COSA VEDERE SUL LAGO DI COMO CENTRO LAGO OSSUCCIO Il Comune di Ossuccio si trova nella porzione centrale della sponda occidentale del Lario ed è un luogo così bello, così ricco di storia e di doni della natura che è di difficile descrizione. Si trova nel territorio della Tremezzina e confina lungo la fascia a lago con i Comuni di Sala Comacina e Lenno e nella porzione a monte con i Comuni di Colonno, Ponna e Porlezza. L’area a lago ospita gli antichi nuclei storici di Ospedaletto, Spurano e Isola, di origine addirittura preromanica e si trova proprio stretta tra la strada Statale Regina e le acque del lago; da qui il terreno sale dolcemente nella prima porzione, dove si concentrano le più recenti espansioni edilizie e la maggior parte dei servizi per la collettività, per poi inerpicarsi verso la fascia di mezza costa dove si concentrano i nuclei storici di Ossuccio, Mulino e Carate. Questa sponda del lago si contraddistingue per alcune emergenze morfologiche e paesistiche interessanti, tra cui l'Isola Comacina, l'unica isola del lago di Como e il boscato del Dosso di Lavedo, promontorio meglio conosciuto come punta della Villa del Balbianello, patrimonio del FAI.
