It corrects road deformation and increases pavement strength. Typically the treatment is applied once a reseal treatment is not feasible and the pavement reaches prescribed intervention levels. Treatments include in-situ stabilisation, tine and add gravels and gravel overlays. The process reuses the existing materials and can significantly increase the service level on both a single road and whole of network perspective. It is significantly less expensive than full reconstruction and is a preferred option if viable. Council uses a pavement management system to assist in road management. • Urban Local Roads (ULR) • Accelerated Roads Rehabilitation Program from Major Roads Reconstruction Program funding sources (See notes 1 and 2) SUBURB LOCATION PROJECT DESCRIPTION ESTIMATE YEAR: 2018/19 Various Various Advanced investigations and design $150,000 Ashtonfield Lindeman Street Pitcairn to Heron $70,000 Ashtonfield Malay Street Lord Howe to Pacific $38,000 Ashtonfield South Seas Drive Adele (east end) to Adele (west end) $395,000 Berry park Eales Road No. 87 to No. 102 $60,000 Bolwarra Kensington Road Bayswater to Bolwarra $220,000 Bolwarra Heights Lang Drive Paterson to CH 330 $110,000 Bolwarra Heights Paterson Road COS 90m past No. 603 to Bridge South Abutment $85,000 Bolwarra Heights Tocal Road Lang Drive to Culvert $235,000 East Maitland Adelaide Street Phillip to Brisbane $145,000 East Maitland Card Crescent Narang to End $60,000 East Maitland Maize Street Chambers to Hiland $90,000 East Maitland Price Street Chambers to Peacock $70,000 East Maitland Verdant Drive Stronach to Molly Morgan $90,000 Rutherford Capper Street End to Verge $20,000 Rutherford Denton Park Drive End of AC to Crest $252,000 Rutherford Harvey Road Logan to New England $135,000 Rutherford Service Road 2 Regiment to End $90,000 Tenambit Metford Road Maize to Ribee $225,000 TOTAL $2,540,000 Maitland City Council Delivery Program | 108 FOUR YEAR CAPITAL WORKS PROGRAM SUBURB LOCATION PROJECT DESCRIPTION ESTIMATE YEAR: 2019/20 Subject to future budget, constraints and opportunities Various Citywide Advanced investigations and design $150,000 Various Citywide Determined from pavement management system $2,181,330 (See note 2) TOTAL $2,331,330 YEAR: 2020/21 Subject to future budget, constraints and opportunities Various Citywide Advanced investigations and design $150,000 Various Citywide Determined from pavement management system $2,280,715 (See note 2) TOTAL $2,430,715 YEAR: 2021/22 Subject to future budget, constraints
