Non-resident Exclusive Rights of Burial fees will apply when: i. The person to be interred was not a resident of the Metropolitan District of Birmingham at the time of death. ii. In the case of a stillborn child, where neither parent is a resident of the Metropolitan District of Birmingham at the time of birth. iii. The burial rights are pre-purchased by a person who is not a resident of the Metropolitan District of Birmingham. Burial Rights will not be regarded as pre-purchased if the first person to be interred died before or within 14 days of application being made for the purchase of such rights.
