Stage Makeup

On a stage, the light intensity will flatten a performer’s face by making it two-dimensional rather than three- dimensional. The purpose of stage makeup is to return the face to a three-dimensional, life-like appearance.

TIP: When you think that there is too much makeup and are sure that in any other circumstance would never let your child out of the house, you most likely have done it right!! Have fun with this process. Your child will feel like a princess.

MAKEUP APPLICATION: DO NOT SKIP ANY OF THESE STEPS!!

1. : Choose a liquid foundation most similar to your natural skin tone and apply with a makeup sponge all over your face and neck. 2. Powder: Use a translucent or your shade of powder to set your foundation. 3. : Darken them with a brown or black powder 4. Eye shadow: Use browns only. See chart below. 5. Eye liner: Must use brown or black. See chart below. 6. Mascara: Must use brown or black. See chart below. 7. Blush: Must use RED. Apply from apple of cheek to hair line 8. : Must use RED. Applying to entire lip prior to applying lipstick helps the lipstick to last longer and stay in place. 9. OPTIONAL: False . Apply close to natural lash line using cosmetic approved glue only. NEVER APPLY FALSE LASHES DIRECTLY TO YOUR NATURAL LASHES!!

Boys: Use foundation, natural brown shadows on eye lids, fill in your brows and use eye liner on top lashes

Brow Bone: Lightest Brown Shadow

Crease: Darkest Brown Shadow Apply eye liner to top and bottom lash line Lid: Lightest Brown Shadow with a wing.

Use mascara on top and bottom lashes
