Have them always at hand even when you are not connected to your office network or the Internet. WHAT'S NEW New Improved Fixed Removed VERSION 2.7.9 This maintenance update fixes a crash related to adding PDF annotations on iOS 14, an issue where URLs could no longer be be added to documents via the Info popover, and more. Adding annotations to PDFs crashed the app on iOS 14.x. Fixed. URLs couldn't be added to regular documents anymore. Fixed. The Info popover from the detail view could appear too narrow. Fixed. Calculating all tags of an item could crash the app in some rare cases. Fixed. If the app crashed on launch, web archives to be added were lost. Fixed. Sync — The background fetch could, theoretically, freeze the app in the background. Fixed. VERSION 2.7.8 This is (one of) the last maintenance update(s) for DEVONthink To Go 2. It prepares the data store for version 3.0, which has been in the works for a while and will become available as a separate app in the App Store in due course. A welcome screen will inform you about the arrival of DEVONthink To Go 3.0. The update to 2.7.8 also brings those bug fixes over from version 3 that don't depend on larger changes to the database or app structure, or would make the app DEVONthink To Go 2.7.9 Documentation, page 4 incompatible to iOS 11 and 12. And finally, we've updated the PDF library and MultiMarkdown support as well as brought the sync submodule on part with DEVONthink 3.6 for Mac and the upcoming DEVONthink To Go 3.0. Added welcome screen that will appear when DEVONthink To Go3.0 becomes available. The data store, settings, and sync data are moved to a shared location where they can be picked up by version 3. Documents can be added to Favorites too. Search more reliably finds words containing a hyphen. Sheets no longer display DEVONthink for Mac column type identifiers in their header row. Very long PDFs are now scaled to width. Sync locations no longer show file name extensions. Added support for iOS 14 local network access security. Added support for newer App Store URL scheme. More reliable full-text reindexing. Improved timeout handling of clearing duplicates. PDF library to updated to latest version that is still compatible to iOS 11. Markdown support updated to MultiMarkdown 6. Further minor performance, responsiveness, and reliability enhancements. Sync — Dropbox uploads are now limited to four concurrent connections and the minimal time between two upload connections is 0.5 seconds. This reduces up to 90% of temporary rate limiting errors and might also reduce the likelyhood of Drobopx stalls and timeouts. Also: improved automatic retry handling in case of rate limiting errors and improved multi-threading of Dropbox support. Sync — Reduced CPU, memory, and battery usage of Dropbox sync stores and iCloud upload monitor. Sync — Improved multi-threading and better support for asymmetric multi processing. Sync — More reliable synchronizing of tags, e.g., after replicating ordinary tags. Sync — Better and more consistent logging. Sync — Reduced load for push notification server. Sync — Improved overall reliability and performance. Autosaving PDFs could cause interruptions or streaks while drawing. Fixed. PDFs without annotation permissions could be annotated. Fixed. RSS feeds didn't show shallow/full sync controls. Fixed. Searching for multiple tags separated by semicolons didn't work. Fixed. Setting only the tags via x-callback-url didn't work. Fixed. Importing files from the Files app didn't work due to permissions issues. Fixed. Documents added by drag-and-drop were not searchable. Fixed. DEVONthink To Go 2.7.9 Documentation, page 5 Voice notes played with very low volume on iOS 13 and later. Fixed. Changing a group's tags was not reflected in the details string of its children. Fixed. New tags were not necessarily marked as such. Fixed. Records moved to another database could be purged under certain circumstances even though they were not synced yet. Fixed. Sorting by name could order some items differently in item lists and in the destination selector. Fixed. The toolbar for documents wasn't updated after downloading the document on demand. Fixed. The button for expanding the detail view sometimes vanished randomly. Fixed. The activity indicator wasn't always properly shown during a database migration. Fixed. Various glitches of the database list. Fixed. The "Saved" notification ducked the suggestion bar. Fixed by removing the unnecessary notification. After selecting PDF search results and scrolling, the found results were not highlighted. Fixed. Conversions were shown for items not yet downloaded. Fixed When switching the item list out of editing mode, the selected item showed a checkmark for a fraction of a second. Fixed. The full-screen progress indicator label was clipped on iPhone in portrait orientation. Fixed. Moving items with the Files app did not reliably work. Fixed. PDFs were reloaded unnecessarily after saving, causing side-effects such as changing unexpectedly from double spread view to single pages. Fixed. Background tasks were not correctly marked as ended and so caused unnecessary console messages. Fixed. Some examples for URL commands appeared as clickable links in the integrated help. Fixed. Documents without content could crash the app. Fixed. Extracting PDF metadata could crash the app. Fixed. Updating the app badge could crash the app. Fixed. Scrolling in lists with a large number of items could crash the app. Fixed. Starting maintenance tasks while the app was going into the background could crash the app. Fixed. Creating a formatted note with Clip to DEVONthink crashed the extension. Fixed Opening documents with invalid item link could potentially crash the app. Fixed. Collecting data in the file provider extension could crash the extension. Fixed. Importing files from, e.g., the Files app, could freeze the app. Fixed. Calculating sheet column widths could crash the app. Fixed. Deleting items could crash the app in rare situations caused by recursive group structures. Fixed. Converting web archives could crash the app. Fixed. DEVONthink To Go 2.7.9 Documentation, page 6 Fixed other potential glitches and crashes. Sync — iCloud locations could be added multiple times. Fixed. Sync — %20 in URLs was converted to + which confused some WebDAV servers. Fixed. Sync — During a sync, the indexed status of items was changed even though it didn't need to. Fixed. Sync — Duplication was enabled for conflicts in case of Bonjour syncs. Fixed. Sync — Updating the sync status button could crash the app. Fixed. Sync — Rare issue of duplication in case of conflicts of indexed items. Fixed. Sync — In case of temporary server issues of Dropbox endless retries could be performed. Fixed. Sync — Obsolete files/folders might not have beem removed from the internal sync status folder after cleaning sync stores. Fixed. Sync — WebDAV session handling could throw harmless exceptions. Fixed. Sync — Skip state restoration when the background sync is active to prevent a (harmless) console warning. Sync — Requesting the sync status of databases synchronized through Bonjour could crash the app. Fixed. Sync — When the background app refresh was triggered before the app was even launched at least once, the app crashed. Fixed. Sync — Broken status files could crash the app. Fixed. Sync — Empty sync store uploads could crash the app. Fixed. Sync — Rare crashes related to multi-threading. Fixed. VERSION 2.7.7 This maintenance release allows you to merge floating toolbars with the top toolbar to move them out of the way, and increases the size of preview images. Version 2.7.7 also improves the performance when handling PDFs, better avoids reindexing metadata unnecessarily, and fixes a number of bugs and glitches.

  • Firefox Android Reader Mode
Firefox android reader mode Continue Image: Firefox Development Firefox Preview, Firefox's restored Android app, is moving smoothly together, and this week one of its best features received a substantial update. Mozilla added browser extension support to Firefox Preview back in February, but you can only install one addition: uBlock Origin. Mozilla's latest test builds for Firefox Preview have added five more add- ons to the mobile browser that can be installed from the app settings, and they're all stunning: Screenshot: Brendan HesseDark Reader - automatically includes a dark mode for (most) websites, even if the page usually doesn't have one. HTTPS Everywhere - Adds HTTPS encryption to websites whenever possible. NoScript - Warns you about potentially dangerous web-page scripts and lets you decide whether they will be running or not. Privacy Badger - Blocks internet trackers hidden on the sites you visit. Image Search - Allows you to select and reverse search for images of any images you find while viewing. These new add-ons are available in the latest version of the developer's Firefox Preview. You can try them early by downloading Nightly Build from Google Play. While Night builds are designed for developers and often suffer from stability issues, downloading it so won't re-write any other version of Firefox Preview you've installed. If something doesn't work, you can just delete the browser and swap back for the more stable version of Firefox Preview you used before. New additions should be available in other versions of the app soon anyway. How to install add-onsInstall Firefox Preview Night Assembly from Google Play Store.

Masters' Degree in Informatics Engineering Dissertation System of Automatic Recommendation and Prioritization of Tasks Jos´ePedro Santana Saraiva [email protected] Advisor : Alexandre Pinto June 2014 UNIVERSIDADE DE COIMBRA Abstract Faculdade de Ci^enciase Tecnologia Departamento de Engenharia Inform´atica Master's Degree Thesis System of Automatic Recommendation and Prioritization of Tasks by Jos´ePedro Santana Saraiva Most people have many different tasks, goals, projects, interests and responsibilities in life, and in the fast paced world we live in today, all of these grow in number and diversity all the time. This rising in complexity and quantity of matters to handle makes it progressively harder to make intuitive choices about which task to execute next. We developed a prototype application for helping the user in managing and prioritizing his tasks, guaranteeing an alignment with his goals and deadlines. Our application follows a variation over the Getting Things Done (GTD) methodology but also includes benefits from other complementary approaches, such as goal cascading and dynamic prioritization. Keywords: GTD, Prioritization of Tasks, Recommendation of Tasks, Hierarchization of Objectives, Personal Productivity |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||- Acknowledgements Firstly, I would like to acknowledge my immense gratitude to my advisor Prof. Alexandre Pinto for all the guidance and knowledge provided, for the patience and availability shown since the start of this thesis and for his motivational words provided in hard times. I also would like to acknowledge the Cognitive and Media Systems Group for providing me shelter and allowing me to use their resources. Last but not least, I am truly grateful for the support that my beloved family has given throughout my studies, especially my parents and grandparents for their relentless support, belief and comprehension, and my gratitude to all my friends who played an essential role during this period of my life.
