Dear Parents

You will all be aware of our recent visit from Ofsted and I would like to thank you all for the overwhelmingly positive responses to the parent survey. Your honesty and support in our continued journey to improve further is valued.

Attached is the report from our recent Ofsted inspection. We pride ourselves on the care we take of pupils within the school, ensuring that they feel safe and behave well - we are delighted that Ofsted noted that and could see that pupils at Rosemellin are respectful to each other and are well supported by our staff.

It is great to see that Ofsted recognised that we are an improving school and that the steps we are taking are all in the right direction. I know that you will be keen to celebrate our successes so far and to help us on the next steps to making Rosemellin an even better school. The staff and Governors’ commitment and hard work is a testament to what a great school it is and we are really looking forward to taking the next steps together.

Kind regards

Nicola Finn Headteacher
