The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire, in Londonderry hosted an Aircraft Fly-In Day at the museum on Saturday, Aug. 11, that featured free flights to kids ages 8-17 with the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Young Eagles. Pilots from throughout New Hampshire flew in a to display a variety of home- built and vintage aviation aircraft at the museum. In addition to displaying the homebuilts, there were several vintage aircraft. There were also many aviation activities throughout the day including demonstrations of aircraft fabric covering, sheet metal riveting, conversations with the aircraft pilots, and tours of the Muse- um’s exhibits. Activities for children included a kids’ aircraft wing rib building project and paper airplane building. Photos by Chris Paul
