MASTER CLASSES with Christi Corbitt Krieger and Josh Schadl CHRISTI CORBITT KRIEGER finished her fifteenth and final season with Louisville Ballet in 2018. Some favorite classical roles with the Company include principal roles in La Bayadere, Les Sylphides, and the title role in Giselle. She has also enjoyed dancing a wide variety of contemporary and neo-classical work including ballets by George Balanchine, Helen Pickett, Paul Taylor, Adam Hougland, Ma Cong, and Ben Stevenson, OBE.Prior to joining the Louisville Ballet she danced with the Atlanta Ballet, Ballet Memphis, and Texas Ballet Theatre where she performed title roles in Cinderella and Giselle. Christy has performed with Fort Worth’s renowned Casa Manana Theatre Company in productions of West Side Story, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and Oklahoma and locally with DMster Classes with Christi Corbitt and ContemporaryWorkshop with Josh Schadl. erby Dinner Playhouse as Victoria the White Cat in Cats. A favorite musical theater experience was performing Christine in A Chorus Line with CenterStage in Louisville. Upon retirement, Christy assumed her current role as School Principal for The Louisville Ballet School. Christy also serves as Co-Associate Artistic Director of Louisville Ballet Studio Company. Josh Schadle began taking classes at Atlanta Ballet under the direction of Armando Luna. Through a partnership with Atlanta Ballet and KSU,Josh performed with the Atlanta Ballet, The Georgia Ballet, Ballet Mississippi, and Tampa Dance Theatre. Josh performed at Kennedy Center with the American College Dance Festival Josh, Josh Schadl an alumnus of KSU, is a double major in Spanish and Dance. He also studied in Tapei, Tawaiin at the National Taiwan University of the Arts. Josh is currently the Ballet Master at Covington Regional Ballet. The workshop offers daily training in ballet, pointe, partnering*, modern, jazz, pilates, African, drama for dancers and more. All classes are taught by a distinguished faculty June 14-July 1, 2021 of dance professionals. Guest instructors include Melissa Anderson- former solosit dancer with Milwaukee Ballet. Marcus Bugler (Nevad Ballet), Josh Schadl (Covington Regional Ballet), Progressing Ballet Ralph Jacques (Atlanta Ballet), Theresa Howard (Ballethnic & Kennesaw State University), Beau Foister (The Georgia Ballet), Amy Morrow (Parkview Drama), Marcial Ibarra (National Technique- all levels- Ballet of Cuba), Audra Mitchell. The cost of the above workshop is $495. ($445 if you register by March 1st). This fee covers the cost of all classes and supplies. A non-refundable deposit of $225 will be required to reserve a spot in the workshop. *Partnering classes (by approval).Two partnering Lilburn School of Ballet classes will be offered during the workshop. There is an additional fee 0f $50 for these classes. 4047 Darling Court This must be paid in advance of the workshop so that we may secure enough partners for the Lilburn, GA 30047 dancers. Please add this fee to your non-refundable deposit. (Level A Dancers will need a white leotard and skirt for demonstration. Level B-D will need a black leotard and black skirt for demonstration.)
