Gross sales went up as 144 head generated $22,134,00 in gross sales compared to the first day of the 2018 March Sale when 129 horses sold for $20,327,000. The average price dipped slightly from $157,575 a year ago to $153,708, a 2.1 percent drop. The median price fell 12.1 percent from $95,000 a year ago to $83,500 Tuesday. Lanes End Bloodstock as an agent for West Point, Masiello, and Siena Farm was the leading buyer having purchased the day’s top seller for $2 million. Sequel Bloodstock was the leading con- signor after selling six head for $2,765,000. Hip 33 topped all juveniles with a price tag of $2 million paid by Lanes End Bloodstock as an agent for West Point, Masiello and Siena Farm.
